Hello folks! I will be going to Hampton Court on Wednesday 15th June 2005 to see Hayley with Jose Carreras. Yesterday I went to the Palace Box Office and managed to get the last £45 seat. The concert is nearly sold out now, but there may still be a few expensive seats left if you're quick! I'm not a great fan of male singers in general, but at least I can support Hayley without making too big a donation towards JC's income tax bill! The concert will give Hayley some much-needed publicity during the run-up to her next album, and it should boost the sales of her DVD. The same goes for her concert at Kenwood House on Saturday 9th July 2005, but I can't make that one because I've got charity commitments of my own that day. I'm sure Hayley will understand! Look out, I can feel another Carol Vorderman Countdown coming on! All together now, 50 days to go!See you in Court... Hampton Court! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBye for now, Richard

There are two tickets on eBay for the Hampton Court Festival. These are front row seats (Block C Row A) and a bit pricey at over 200 quid.
Hurry 'cos the auction ends around 4 PM today (31st May). UK time
Go to ebay.com; search for Hayley Westenra tickets

Hi all, please give me some help. I've got information from ticketmaster.co.ok : "Tickets are usually avaible from one hour before the event ..." Is it true that I can get my ticket only one hour before event is beginning??? I think this is very late, if a lot of people want to get thier tickets from Ticket Box Office at the same time. Is the Box Office situated direct at the entrance or anywhere else??? Many thanks in advance for your support. Greetings from Berlin, Lothar

Hi Lothar,
Don't worry, The Box Office is just round the corner from the main entrance. Both being inside the grounds of the Palace. You can walk it in about 1 minute from the box office to the entrance. I will be there well before the performance begins so, simply look for someone obviously hanging around by the palace building and that will be me. I will be wearing my HWI sweatshirt (bright royal blue), but may have my jacket on over it - depends on the weather.

I'll be there too, Lothar, so if I see Keith and Richard approaching, I'll let you know and we can start running in the opposite direction! Roger

Is the Box Office situated direct at the entrance or anywhere else??? Hello again Lothar, I was a bit slow on the uptake this morning! The Festival Box Office is also the Ticket Office for admissions to the Palace, and should be open during the day between 10:00 and approximately 16:00 hours. I bought my ticket there in the morning a few weeks ago. The main entrance to the Palace is by the roundabout near the bridge over the river, and the Ticket Office is clearly signposted inside. There will be several of us meeting up, so I'll see you there. I'll be the one with a ferret on a lead, in case we get lost in the maze, and Roger is the one with the hare (I mean hair)! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I believe you've already seen Hayley live in Berlin, so now's your chance to see her at Hampton Court. It's a good job King Henry VIII doesn't live there any more because he had the perfect cure for his wives' headaches - amputation! I'm running out of Hampton Court jokes! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSee you on 15th June, Richard

Dear Keith, Dear Richard, Dear Roger, Dear Emmett,
many thanks for your answers. I hope everything will be o. k.
I’m not sure what kind of clothes I will use. It depends on the weather of course. Last time when I was in London (some years ago) – it was a sunny day absolutely. We went from Tower Bridge to “Big Ben” by ship and it was wonderful. Please organize such weather again!!! – Without any clouds and rain please!!!
Perhaps I should send you my photo for better identification. : - ))))
Greetings, Lothar
The count down is running – 14.5 days

Hi Lothar,
Hope everything is sorted for you now.
With relation to what to expect from the weather, thats the million dollar question, very unpredictable and changeable especially for the UK. London has 31C one day and then the next day 18C and then rain.
Best thing to do is just check the long range forecasts Wunderground.com is usually spot on. I remember reading some of the reviews for last years event and some said it got a bit chilly as the night went on, but luckily it stayed dry.
Bye,
Emmett

That's an understatement! Young Hayley sang in a thin dress with bare shoulders if I remember correctly - on a very breezy outdoor stage and the temperature was around 11 degrees celsius by the interval. Most of the audience had coats on and I certainly zipped up my anorak (lol) to the neck. Quite unusual for June, was that, brrrr!!!! but very well done to Hayley who soldiered on as if it was a warm summer's afternoon We'll be very unlucky if it's as cold as that this year - but rain can never be ruled out Anyway, I, too shall be there - hopefully early like the rest of you and that, for me, is rare! Who's bringing the picnic basket? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hello again everybody! Whatever the weather, Hayley's performance at Hampton Court will fill us all with wonder and aMAZEment (they don't get any better)! If right is right, left is wrong, but if right is wrong, left is right! Of course it all depends on whether you're going in or coming out, or coming in or going out! In case we don't know whether we're coming or going, let's forget about the maze and look forward to the concert! Only TWO weeks to go, or ONE fortnight! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSee you there, Richard P.S. We need a smiley with an umbrella!
