Let's assume that Hayley will be headlining a concert. YOU have to choose the venue (anywhere in the world), the songs she will sing (in order), and an encore. You also have to choose what backing she would have (which may vary a little bit during the course of the concert). You then have to chose two or three guest artists (soloists or groups) and the songs they will sing, stating whereabouts in the programme they will appear. Also, state which dresses you would like Hayley to wear and at what point she changes from one to another. Hayley's repertoire may include ANY songs that you feel would suit her usual style. They do not have to be limited to those she has recorded. You may design a programme or poster if you wish (but it isn't compulsory!). Your only limitations are that the concert should not last for more than about two hours and that the guests must have a reasonable amount of "stage time" (ie, not all Hayley!). YOU are the promoter, the musical director, and the theatre manager all rolled into one. This would be a spectacular event so let your imaginations take over and have fun. Roger

Brillant topic idea, Roger. Just a quick question though : how many songs can we choose for the main list and for the encore? EDIT : OK, you actually already answered my question by saying it can't last more than 2 hours. Tough! EDIT 2 : Venue, dresses and guest artists are chosen. I still need the songs but that will take a lot of time I love this topic! Stephany

This is a really exciting challenge, Roger and arguably of practical benefit to Hayley in the suggestions we come up with. My only concern is, how long do we have? Is there a deadline?
Point 2, I think this is such an exciting idea could it go into a professional vein? Possibly handled by Classicfm with a prize--say dinner/lunch with Hayley, or some other appropriate organ that would be happy to host it as a promotional aid? Peter S.

Hi Stephany and Peter, Thank you for your initial enthusiasm. No, there isn't really a deadline and the thread could run for as long as members chose to keep it active. To take it seriously, will of course require some thought and so I am not expecting a long list of fantasy concerts before midnight! I know I said it was a *fantasy* concert but trying to get Classic fm or Hayley involved might be ever so slightly optimistic. You never know, Hayley might get to hear about it in due course *wink, wink!* but let's just keep it as a bit of fun for all forum members for now and we'll see how it develops. Roger

Hi Steve, Thanks and very well-done for your Carnegie Hall "fantasy" concert. Interesting that you put a duet of Josh Groban & Hayley on "How Many Stars". I would be curious to hear that one. Great suggestion!!
