Thought I'd revive this thread, if only to have Hayley reunite with CW one more happy time.

A CELTIC REUNION

Featuring all the members of Celtic Woman, past and present, and introducing new member Kristen Evans, accompanied by their own orchestra and choir plus members of the National Symphony, to be held at Malahide Castle, Saturday, July 19, 2008, at 7:00 PM. Admission 50, 75, and 110 Euros, with option to purchase 50 Euro reception ticket if you buy the top ticket.






For the first set the performers will be wearing dresses in shades of green, depending upon their time with the group, Alex and Kristen wearing the lightest, then Hayley and Lynn wearing sort of a jade green, Deirdre wearing emerald green, Chloe and Meav wearing grass green, and Orlagh and Lisa wearing deep forest green. Mairead’s dress is a combination of all these shades, with pleats in her skirt with lighter-colored lining, so when she twirls the color appears to change. All have golden heels as well.

For these pieces the performers wear their white dresses with silver shoes up to Dingle Set, then go to the jewel tones with matching shoes for the last set and finale, with Lisa in red, Meav in rose, Chloe in dark blue, Kristen in gold, Orlagh in purple, Hayley in orange, Deirdre in yellow, Lynn in silvery gray, Alex in light blue, and Mairead in her rainbow skirt.

Hello All,

This is the first time I saw this thread...this is fun
And I want tickets to all these shows.

But Roger, having at least 2 guests performing a reasonable amount of time, to me that would be at least 1/2 hour each or 20 minutes. I don't think you can put on a show like this for under 2 hours. And does this include intermission?

I may take a turn at this in the future but in the mean time, I am enjoying this very much.

Not sure what it is about these fantasy concert ideas, but I can never resist! I'm also gonna go the whole hog as we're talking about the not-too-likely anyway and go for the straight on impossible...

For an actually possible line up, substitute Paul Potts for Mario Lanza.

Great idea to revive this thread We had a lot of fun with it in the past and I think you have some good ideas. Not sure it would last for two hours though I also think you are the first to suggest a postumous performance. OK why not? it is a fantasy concert after all.

Likely about an hour & a half at most, in fact. I could stuff in a few more songs if I really had to, though, I'm sure

I figured for a truly great concert, anyone she duetted with (Rather than someone taking a supporting role) would have to truly match her and that meant Lanza. I can't see anyone hating the idea of the two of them singing together, were it only possible...
