In case you folks aren't up on Finnish entertainment news, Saara is making a huge name for herself on "Finland's Got Talent" and is in the lead position at the semifinals. You can see her performance on the show right here! There's also a nice interview (in Finnish) with her here |

Let's all give a big HWI congratulations to our own Saara Aalto! She just advanced to the FINALS of Finland's biggest televised talent competition! I agree with you, congratulations are in order. I myself stay in touch with Saara too, but currently find my involvement with Zoe Mace (deliberately mentioned first), Holly Holyoake and Katherine Jenkins (deliberately mentioned last) are taking up quite a bit of my time.

Sadly, Saara didn't win the competition... another guy (a beatboxer) won.  However, I wish her all the best in the future -- she has so much potential and I wish her every success as a singer!  |

I know she's been off our radar for a few years, but singer Saara Aalto — a big Hayley fan who met Hayley in Helsinki thanks to HWI — has made a huge leap in her singing career since placing second in "Finland's Got Talent": She's the voice of Princess Anna in the new Disney animated musical, "Frozen" — Finnish language edition!

Today Saara will perform a duet with Andrea Bocelli at his concert in Helsinki. On a Finnish TV show promoting the event Saara mentioned that Hayley Westenra had performed with Bocelli in the past.
