Your Edvard Grieg piece is wonderful! You played with great authority!
I like the Mozart a lot but the Bach really wowed me. The Marttinen was great as well.
If you're ever taking requests, I'd love someday to hear the Sonatine In F-Sharp Minor, Op. 67 No. 1: II. Allegro moderato by Sibelius.

Hei Saara ! Mitä kuuluu ? I'm quite new at HWI so sorry that I've found this thread first today. Thank you for the piano files. I may be anything but an expert but you play the piano great. I couldn't hear any mistake. But even more I like the singing clips that you've posted before. You have a great voice as good as Hayley's. Do you have a CD released in Germany? If so I have to take a look where to find it. Thomas

You obviously have talent, and it won't be long before it's recognized all over the world. I especially enjoyed the new songs -- your voice just gets better and better. Hope to hear from you soon! Hello Oksy and Saara and everyone, I've just remembered that Gerrit (known as gareth in this thread) asked me a while a go if I'd mention some news about Saara... so I will (belatedly!) by quoting what Gerrit wrote in Katherine's official forum (two weeks ago! ) Good luck Saara from me, I hope the trip goes well... and I'm sure it will! Cheers, Dave

Saara has just returned from her trip to Japan and Bosnia - she has finished recording her CD in Bosnia and has added photos from Japan and a new diary entry to her site: www.saaraaalto.com/Gerrit

Hi All, Today I got a pleasant surprise! Saara informed me she had recorded a Christmas CD - and has put one song online. And I was quite touched that she told me it was her Christmas present to me ... And that I could share it wit people on forums I am a member of! It has been one of the loveliest Christmas presents I have ever had - it is a hauntingly beautiful, original song. It was composed by her friend Teemu Roivainen, who also performs the backing vocals and is the producer of the song. It has some soft celtic touches, as well as some more "poppy" moments - and it is refreshing to hear a song that is not a cover of an existing song! Here it is: Hetki Hiljainen - A Silent MomentDon't forget to visit Saara's site: www.saaraaalto.com/Gerrit

Thanks for posting that video Steve. It's nice to hear another singer singing 'Se tu M'ami' as that's a song I'm also working on.
A friend of mine sent me a song recently and it featured Saara singing in French on it. The song is called 'Inga's Liberty' With their permission I will see if I can put it on youtube to share it all with you.

Hi all, Saara is an extraordianary singer - In Finland the interest seems to be more in groups like Lordi (who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006, with something that wasn't a song at all - they just managed to delude the masses by hiding their true incompetence in extraordinary masks and by making an awful unintelligible racket - which only goes to show the lack of true breeding among those who think voting in such a contest is an uplifting thing), so Saara has the popular vote against her. Yet her voice has extraordinary soothing qualities. I thoroughly recommend her MySpace site: www.myspace.com/saaraaalto, as well as her official site: www.saaraaalto.com/Gerrit PS: Hehehe, I am biased. I do chat with Saara regularly. I met her last year in Helsinki, and she is one of the loveliest people you could ever meet
