Hello again everyone, What I didn't tell you is that the three songs I posted from Christmas Presence was in fact Part Two, from after the interval. I thought we could do with a Part One from before the interval, to balance things up so here it is! Three more Hayley Christmas songs (10m:00s, 1mbps, 74MB, full frame windows media video). If anyone cannot play the videos, keep an eye on this thread. Cheers, Dave

Thanks Dave.
Hayley sang my favourite, O Holy Night, beautifully. I also love The Prayer from the same concert.
Are these videos also available on youtube?

Hi IHF,
I don't think so, but Dave is doing a great job making them available on HWI. You'll get better quality here too I suspect!

Hi Irish Hayley Fan, I don't know but jolly well hope not, the idea is that forum members should have them as exclusive Christmas presence presents from HWI! However, the lengths were squeezed (with great difficulty!) into 10 minutes and HWI is on YT... so as I said earlier, watch this space. Cheers, Dave

Hello all, The two Christmas Presence sets are now also up at HWI in high quality: Part 1 - Part 2and at HWIVid on YouTube [a href="Part 1"]Part 1[/a][/url] - Part 2. Both are available in High Quality. Finally, for anyone who wants the maximum quality, who can download 150 MB+ files and play videos with h.264 encoding, you can download my 2Mbit/s versions but remember, the improvements at this level over the 1mbps .wmv versions will be subtle, certainly not huge so the main benefit is for anyone who cannot play windows media files. Part 1 (157MB h.264 encoding) - Part 2 (146 MB h.264 encoding)The Songs are: Part 1 - Mary Did You Know? Gabriel's Message, O Holy Night Part 2 - Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire, Silent Night, Away in a Manger (with Howell's Junior School Choir). Cheers, Dave

Hi Dave,
Just like to add my thanks for these two great downloads, certainly a fine gift for Christmas.
My thoughts go back to the similar concert in Swansea and our meeting with Hayley afterwards.
Merry Christmas

Hi Dave
Just got round to downloading these superb videos. Like Karsten, it took my system just about 20 minutes to download the lot.
December this year definitely lacked something without a Hayley Christmas concert to look back on, but the videos certainly helped.
Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant and Dave. I too have downloaded (in 2 mins) so where did your 20 come in? However I did have another problem to do with being on my mac, I could not download at all so had to reboot in Vista to download but I did play the first three on the mac and was moved to tears at the thought of what we have lost here this year. The quality is superb. She is so lovely I cannot believe she is prepared to give us the time she does when ever she can when she's live and the subtley of her. That 'braid' in her hair. I could not quite catch what is was perhaps no more than an embellished clip, small discreet so effective. Just the right amount of glitter in the right place at the right time.
The children coming on was fantastic and her being seated for when she sang with them was a simple but most appropriate right touch to have heads together. The faces of the children looked on her adoringly, one had the feeling they could not believe they were on stage with Hayley Westenra and were enthralled at every minute. Peter S.

Hi Peter I too have downloaded (in 2 mins) so where did your 20 come in? Maybe you've not seen the latest downloads that Dave posted - all 300 meg of it! Absolutely stunning quality. I agree about the children. The way they come on so quietly with their imitation candles and just sit waiting for their turn to sing with Hayley is just magical. I am sure they were all feeling very special to be up on stage singing with Hayley, but then the look on Hayley's face clearly shows her enjoyment of the moment; and I bet she made sure she spent time getting to know each one - bless her beautiful heart! Best wishes Grant

Well, I have had this one for a while so no need to download. But your comments persuaded me to play it again tonight. I have to admit it is a favourite of mine - absolutely wonderful. I have to ask once again how anyone who loves music can watch something like that and not be blown away.
It is a wonderful think that Dave has now made this available on HWI so that more people can enjoy it. It is far too good to disappear for ever into the archives of ITV. I'm actually finding it harder and harder to believe that there isn't a conspiracy to hide Hayley's wonderful talent from the world. perhaps by those who don't approve of her values and who seem to have a lot of power in the media.
Musical Genius is a term that is perhaps over used. In my own lifetime I think of the likes of Syd Barrett, Brian Wilson, Andrew Lloyd Webber, perhaps George Martin, certainly Karl Jenkins. It certainly includes wonderful classical composers like Mozart (perhaps the greatest musical genius ever), Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Berlioz, JS Bach and others. I'm starting to think that our beautiful princess belongs among their number. To my ears, she is just awesome!
She should be one of, if not THE most celebrated singers in the world. I have to ask why most people I meet have never heard of her.
Martin
