Wish I could say the same for Classic FM Paul, they play Benedictus many times but sadly never, ever, Hayley's version these days.

Too true! Unfortunately though, they don't seem to play anything else of Hayley's either these days, nor does any other UK radio station that I'm aware of. As for Classic FM, to be fair though, they seem to have dropped the classical crossover genre entirely - unless someone knows better? But they do play a lot of film music which, in most cases, is far from what I consider to ber classical music and some has much in common with classical crossover. |
