But by the 80th minute, Australia were looking spent and England took the advantage onto victory! Best wishes to the Lionesses against Spain in the final… I reckon the pubs in Benidorm will have early opening hours! |

In England too, but many pubs are licensed to serve alcohol only from 12 noon on a Sunday and kick-off is at 11 am UK time! There is not enough time for temporary licences to be issued or for national changes to be made via Parliament, so all the govrernment can do (and has done) is ask police and licensing authorities to ignore any licence breaches. Law breaking by 'unofficial' request of the government lol - because nobody in power seems to have realised that England might be in the final. Meanwhile, it's great to see Marty and others on Lyric FM still keeping up the good work. We even had a Hayley track played in the UK two days ago, Pokarakare Ana at 2:12 pm on 17 August. Only a short preview is available though and with no presenter's comments, unless you sign up to the "Global Player".
