I think we need an octopus to cross his tentacles. Or a millipede to cross it's legs. LOL I'm half-expecting she's going to be somewhat vague still. It's hard to imagine we're going to get the full picture when we've gone so long without much of any info, and what little info we have gotten has been next to nothing.
I'm guessing the interview will be over the phone, unless she spends a week in Ireland. Which is entirely possible.

Marty in the morningThe link above is to Marty's RTE Lyric Fm Page. On the right of the photo is a list of dates, click on a date and a play button appears just below it, click the play button and the Replay window should appear, This may take a while as it is loading. Marty's show is three hours long starting at 7:00 am. therefore 00:00 on the Replay is 7 am. If you go to Wednesday 1st June, click play and wait for the Replay window to load and start playing. Advance the slider on the purple bar to 00:55 minutes and within a minute or so you should hear Marty mention the interview and concert. These Replay dates only stay available on screen for a week.

Ooh this is exciting!  I hope she gives us some details of the new album. I will have to catch up later as I've got to take my car for servicing then- will be nice to have something to look forward to- as I'm already in shock over how much my car is going to cost me   |

Yep, I have to work all day tomorrow... as well as all day of the 11th, too. So both days I have to wait till I get home in the evening to appreciate any of it.  I'm looking forward to tomorrow after work, even though I'm on my day off! LOL |

The Hayley Westenra interview is on the RTE Lyric Fm Player HEREFast forward the timer bar to 2 hours 34 minutes, the interview lasts about 25 minutes 11seconds. I am trying to make a recording of the interview available for download for our members who cannot acess the RTE Player. Famous last words, this will only take a few minutes. 3 computers later. PS. It feels good to hear from Hayley again. To have her back on board. It has been a long time. It has been almost like that time back at the end of 2008, when we knew she was going through hell but felt so helpless and unable to help her. Then the joy of seeing that video from the rose garden, and knowing that she was OK and pulling through it. I know that there are those among us who will always be there for Hayley if we get the chance. It will be good to see her again next week.

Thanks, Comet! You have to click Find a Programme and select Marty in the Morning to find the interview, then fast forward, as comet says.
Mildly informative, but we did get some good hints... and original songs.. plural! So, maybe 2?

The interview on the site worked fine, though I used the link you posted in the coinciding thread. I then clicked Find a Programme, then Marty in the Morning. Very interesting info... yes, she's going to sing original songs, plural! I can't wait to hear that! Unless a video/recording is forbidden, as is entirely possible.  And... as I feared, a 2017 album is more likely than not... as opposed to a 2016 album. Not nearly as interesting as I'd hoped, but this new interview was definitely appreciated. Yeah, the last time we've heard her voice was in Taiwan, right, nearly 6 months ago! A little sad. |
