Thanks, Taylor! I liked how Marty called her an "international lady of mystery!" Love it! So, she was in Rome at the end of last year, eh? And she's also been busy with UNICEF? that explains some periodic silence. She seems to have a lot on her plate! And orchestral arrangements for her OWN music?!?! Awesome! Can't wait to see videos from the concert!

Thanks Taylor, Thanks Paddy, I tried repeatedly yesterday on Photobucket and Mediafire, It would load to about 30% and just stop on mediafire, the progress device reported that a file was still uploading but nothing was happening. Might be because I am still using Windows Vista on one machine and Windows XP on another.
I will happily give up trying now, phew.
It was lovely to hear the interview live, just such a pleasure to hear Hayley's voice for a while, sounding a bit rock n roll at times, just a hint of a growl here and there.
even on the real time broadcast there was a little distortion on Hayley's side as if a battery was going in a microphone or something similar.

I never heard anything about being in Rome recently... LOL an excuse to listen to it again.
LOL comet, there was no growling, I just think she was using the lower timbre of her voice through a lot of it. Maybe it's maturity. LOL I notice gradually my voice has a lower edge to it than it used to, too. And I'm only 2 1/2 years older than her.

Marty also played Ave Maria by Hayley Westenra at about 9:48:30 am. He often plays Hayley just before the end of his show he is one of the good guys, some nice comments before the Ave Maria REPLAY at 2:48:30 let the Ave Maria run into the next song, Nice eh ? REPLAY at 2:48:30

He did mention that there was a possibility that Hayley was in Ireland at the moment.....doing something.. Okay, your comment got me all excited, and so I decided to have a listen for myself... and the verdict is, there's no more reason to be excited than we were before! Marty only got that idea from a tip from one of his listeners! You all know who that was! And all because of a bag of popcorn! Which I admit to believing it does mean she is/was in Ireland, but that's only a theory based on someone else's info on the brand of popcorn! LOL Maybe she really did take a bunch home (but how much do they let you take home on the plane?). Or maybe they really do sell it in England, for all we know.

Here's the link to ReplayClick on the link and have a little patience and it will take you to the programme you want, you'll hear the intro to the start of the programme giving you the date of it. Now move the timer bar forward to 1:05:30 for Marty introducing I feel pretty. I sent the request in a couple of days ago, Marty can't just read out statements like that, they have to check them out first, their legal department may have to check out facts stated in a request like that as well. Marty may have contacted Hayley. Because he has got her contact details since the interviews. If you root around on the RTE Website you will find Terms and conditions of what you should or should not do when contacting RTE by e mail.
