Guess what ? again this morning Marty Whelan was having a quiz to win a pair of tickets to the Hayley Westenra concert on Saturday 11th June at the National Concert Hall in Dublin.
What's new ? He said he may be having a chat with Hayley some day before the concert.
Hayley mentioned at approx times 7:14, 7:??, 7:56, 8:23 and 8:38 with a winner from Finglas in Dublin getting the tickets.
Marty gives three clues and the listener is to figure out the missing word.
The clues this morning, can't recall one of them. *****? Bridge *****? Calling *****? ******

He played Malena at 8:39 He should have played Bridal Ballad for the winner. Hayley mentioned at approx times 7:17, 7:28, 7:44 and 8:37 with a winner who is to be married on Saturday morning getting the tickets. Marty gives three clues and the listener is to figure out the missing word. The clues this morning : *****? me tender Be my *****? *****? in Portofino On Todays programme REPLAY at 01:43:00 Marty mentions that Hayley will performing opera and crossover during her concert. Todays programme REPLAY Now, this one is very easy! If I were to choose a song for a wedding, I'd choose Malena over Bridal Ballad any day. IMO, the most beautiful lyrics Hayley's ever written (though a few others come very close, as well). No wonder Ennio Morricone requested more lyrics from her! Also, the tune is much more beautiful and tender. BB doesn't do much for me.

Brilliant that's great news! Looking forward to it. Did you get the impression she would be in the studio or do you think it will be a phone interview? Anyhow I will hopefully be able to listen in 'LIVE'. Thanks Comet.

Thank you Comet for the news! I did the math for time difference between Dublin and Eastern USA, and you guys are 5 hours ahead of us. So your predictions mean that I need to be up at 4:30am to 5:00am. For not being a morning person, I will probably skip. So someone please post link of podcast or record it for us else where in the world. Excited nonetheless!! Hoping Hayley talks about her upcoming album (and touring) in the interview. *fingers and toes crossed*
