Lucy will be singing at The Community Shield at Wembley next Sunday and there's an article about her in today's Daily Express.

I really like Lucy Kay"s voice and I am interested to see the track list of this album. Considering how quickly this was recorded I highly doubt there will be anything original on it which is annoying.

After Forte finished 4th on AGT, they also recorded an album very quickly. There was no really new material on it, but what made me the happiest is that they recorded every song that they performed on the show. And they were all good songs that suited them well. They weren't nearly as predictable as some of the "crossover" singers on these shows, such as singing Unchained Melody in Spanish (I think), and My Heart Will Go On in Italian. Although I know the 2nd one was done by Sarah Brightman before, it isn't one that's overdone, like Nessun Dorma, so I still found them as different as they could be throughout. They put out an excellent album.

I am expecting that the songs she sang I the show will be on the album, but I also hope that if there are other opera arias they will be the less well known ones. I'm sure this will still be a great album.

After all she's not touring the UK until January so it would have made more sense to release it in December. As it is, as soon as it's released here they're whisking her off on a tour of the US (as a guest artist no doubt!) but I suppose they know what they're doing. In a tweet to a fan today she says she'll be coming to Australia "one day very soon." Could be planning a world tour ?!

I'm sure this will still be a great album. From what I understand, virtually all the album will be opera ("O mio babbino caro" is on there but everyone does that!) but since it will feature the songs from BGT at least one will be a crossover track, "Nella Fantasia". That makes sense, after all the album is called "Fantasia" but I would still have preferred more crossover. To succeed as an opera album it really will have to be very good but Sony seem to believe so and are backing her all the way. Interesting times ahead !

I am still waiting for someone other than Hayley to record Gabriel's Oboe using the words that were personally approved by the composer Ennio Morricone. He was happy with the English words, but less happy with the Italian ones. So why does everyone (except Hayley) sing the Italian ones. I must be to do with money.

He was happy with the English words, but less happy with the Italian ones. So why does everyone (except Hayley) sing the Italian ones. I must be to do with money. Martin D And why can't Hayley's version be the only version, the best version, and be the special one? I personally would happy if nobody ever covered her music, because Hayley's versions are the best. We want people to like Hayley best, not have other singers take what little attention she has away from her. And when others have done her songs, and the non-Hayley version is the first one they hear, they often prefer that one. Even if Hayley is the superior singer. Many people prefer the first version they've ever heard to any others. Anyway, does it really matter if Ennio doesn't like it as long as most people who hear it like it? After all, it's not as if the song was written in Italian without his permission, though it took some doing to get his permission. I certainly do like it, but only by a select few singers, of course. One in particular these days.

I saw on Twitter that Lucy said it had changed because she is recording more songs, I don't mind waiting if there is more music because of it!

I saw on Twitter that Lucy said it had changed because she is recording more songs, I don't mind waiting if there is more music because of it! Well I'm hoping they put some crossover songs on it since I don't want an album that's 100% opera and I don't think most BGT viewers would. I do hope they get this album right because potentially Lucy is a very exciting prospect indeed and there isn't much else to get excited about at the moment. Astonishing to think that 2 years ago she didn't even get past the initial audition ! That's some improvement in a year !
