Jeff you can bet the E mail was not from PayPal, It was some fraudster or scam artist hoping you would answer the E mail and give them your details, so that they could then use them online to move your money to another account of theirs or just buy stuff online. I have been using PayPal since 2007 for hundreds of small transactions to people on nearly every continent without a single problem. The person you send the money to only gets the amount you specify and not a penny more, they can't come back for another payment. Unlike when you give your credit card details, they can be used again and again without your authorisation. |
