Hi Graeme, Grant and everyone, Yes, God Defend New Zealand is going down very well on Youtube, 1,847 views already in about 15 hours! Lots of very complimentary comments about Hayley, she should tweet it! www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhCgcZ0efAA and the Youtube views counter can't keep up. Many thanks to Ross for the two missing videos - I tried to link to them on HWIVid after two people asked, but Youtube are not accepting links in comments/replies. We have just broken the daily "views" record twice in a week on our Youtube channel, 6,095 last weekend, followed on Saturday by 6,383 and that's before the final! It's down to the Rugby World Cup of course and I expect the record to go again when Sunday's figures are in, with what looks like some astonishing figures from New Zealand. What a fabulous stage for Hayley and her talent to be presented to the World! Cheers, Dave

Congrats New Zealand Rugby! 24 years is a long time.
(.....Although in terms of the sports world not nearly as on long as the Chicago Cubs at 103 years with out Championship...and there's a season every year!)

It was so exciting to watch Hayley sing on an American network channel! I also loved the Haka! The dress looked kind of like the one she wore at the Festival of Remembrance last year. I did not get to watch the whole game, since I had to leave for work shortly after, so I have no idea whether NBC showed any of the other songs or not. I am in the process of recording the re-run now on Universal Sports. I can't watch it while it's recording because the thing has to be turned off while recording, and then the TV has no signal when it's turned off. I do have a DVR, but I really prefer recording things on DVD, so I can keep them and play them, and not worry about filling up the DVR, and if the box fails or has to be reset, as it did just recently.

Hello folks! I've posted Hayley's wonderful performance of 'Now Is The Hour' on our Facebook page as a separate item, so all our followers should see it. Richard

So proud to have watched Hayley live on RTE before and after the match,
Now Is The Hour has had a very special place in the hearts of our family since the fifties, very moving performance for many reasons.
Thank You Hayley.

In the RTE clip for Now Is The Hour, one of the guys said something about the song being played while "someone was carried off..." or something along those lines. I didn't hear the rest as he was cut short. Can someone elaborate on this?

Hi everyone,
Provisionally, there were 9,703 views of our Youtube channel on Sunday 23rd October - 50% higher than the previous record. This total might still increase as Youtube collate the figures.
Hayley's "God Defend New Zealand" accounted for 4,300 of those views and World In Union complete (Loose Women) is also over 4,000 for the day.
Our previous daily record for one song was about 1,200 and the above figures are not yet complete.
This is astonishing!
Cheers, Dave

Absolutely stunning, thanks for the pics! They look amazing, I'd love higher res pics of those, but can't ask much XD...But everything's still like a dream to me, Hayley was unbelievable.

Hi Dave Astonishing it is but not surprising! I don't know what the exact worldwide viewing figure was for the match but it must have been Hayley's highest ever audience so not surprising it has generated so much interest. Bandana must still be celebrating as Hayley has had more free publicity than at any other time in her career. It was a faultless performance and apart from also looking stunning we can only hope that even a small percentage of viewers will translate into new fans. Just fantastic! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThe only thing we forgot was to ask Ross to hold up a banner saying " Paradiso - the latest album by Hayley Westenra"! Cheers Martin

Is HWI gonna upload a clean version of Now is the hour on youtube? Has anyone recorded it? It'd be awesome if a high res one got uploaded on youtube, that way I could download it and store it as sweet memories of me watching Hayley for the first time on TV....if somebody's working on it, then that's great

Well, fingers crossed Martin. She's having a very good run of exposure right now. Let's hope all her hard work really starts paying off.
