Hi all in the land of 'Paradiso'
I have the lyrics from 'Whispers In A Dream'
[Thanks to Spiderman, Martin D, afaninchicago, Ross, and simba]
Gabriel's Oboe (Whispers In a Dream) ------------------------------------- lyrics composed by Hayley
Whispers in a dream The world is quiet and waiting And all around the air is still And sings the angel.
When all has come to pass The storm has breathed its last And the rain has washed our fears away Love will fall.
Whispers in the wind The clouds part to let the light in And all around the people sigh As birds take to the sky.
When all has come to pass The storm has breathed its last And the rain has washed our fears away Love will fall on us all.
The world will smile again.
(intermezzo)
Whispers in a dream The world is quiet and waiting And all around the air is still And sings the angel.
When all has come to pass The storm has breathed its last And the rain has washed our fears away Love will fall on us all.
And we can smile again.

Hi Joe,
I have had a go at this one too. I was about to post my version but found you had beaten me to it. But there are a few differences in my version.
I had "tears" for "fears" but could be wrong.
I have "start again" rather than "smile again", but not sure about that.
Second verse I have "people stand" rather than "people sound" (I think I am right there)
I think the second word of your mostly blank line is "people"
But I have problems making out the same line as you.
It was on the basis of my understanding of this lyric that I tweeted Hayley earlier today, telling her I thought it was a very appropriate song for Easter Day. But it would have to be "tears" for that to work.
But this is looking like a terrific lyric from Hayley.

Hi Joe I agree with most of your lyrics. I agree it is fears and not tears. I am not sure yet about if it is sound or stand. But the missing line is Love will find. And I think the other line is Love will find on a star (maybe to do with the star of Bethlehem?). And I also agree it is smile and not start.

Actually, I think it is "smile" the first time she sings it, and "start" the sccond time.

Actually, I think it is "smile" the first time she sings it, and "start" the sccond time. Martin D I've listened to 'Whispers in a dream" 20 times at work. And humming it the rest of the time i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThe note can be a single eg. "fall" or a tied note eg. "follow" "Star" is most likely but could be something that rhymes with 'away'? "Smile" might differ as "start" in the 4th and 6th verses Any other listeners venture a try...give it another listen!

Well I've done that repeatedly.
I now agree with "fears" not "tears"
But I think the line after "As birds take to the sky" sounds more like "all across the land" than "all has come to pass" it is different.
"Love will follow on a star" I don't get at all. To me it is "The people would not ....." perhaps "stay".
And it is definitely "stand", not "smile".
BTW I am listening directly on a high quality hifi CD player, and using its headphone socket to minimise any distortion in the amplifer.

------------------------------------- lyrics composed by Hayley When all has come to pass The storm has breathed its last And the rain has washed our fears away Love will follow. Whispers in the wind The clouds part to let the light in And all around the people sound As birds take to the sky. When all has come to pass The storm has breathed its last And the rain has washed our fears away Love will follow on a star. The world will smile again. I disagree with this a little bit. I think that this stanza should read: Whispers in the wind The clouds part to let the light in And all around the people sighAs birds take to the sky. That makes more sense as it fits the rhyme scheme. And for this stanza (as well as the one without the fifth line): When all has come to pass The storm has breathed its last And the rain has washed our fears away Love will follow on a star. The world will smile again. I think it should be: Love will fallLove will fall on us allThat's what I heard.

I am also trying to give it a go for the English lyrics of La Califfa:
You look down at all you see throw your broken words at me A flower may ?fear? A whisper in the air Your heart is blind to all that I see.
You say love is like the ? ? nothing lasts for all of time But I believe that love is here with me, and for eternity. Any help on those two words?

'Lezione Di Musica' should be no problem for you i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Best wishes, Joe

I still reckon it is Love will find as with my "Kiwi" ears I hear an i and also a d at the end. I now think the first verses has smile but the last verse has start. I also think the word is sigh and not sound.

BTW the last line is 'also' smile, and not start....I can clearly here the 'm' being pronounced and it's being pronounced the same way as the previously marked 'smile'....And it's definitely Love will fall on us all. It's just it's faaaaa - aaaaalll...ooon us aaaa-aaaaall This is what usually happens when they write lyrics to instrumentation XD, it's not wrong, it's amazing...but the splitting up of words i'm saying lol....

I also think the word is sigh and not sound. I can't hear anything like "Live will find" To me it sounds like "The People" Agree with "smaile" and "Start". And probably "sigh" too. So I ended up with Whispers in a dream The world is quiet and waiting And all around the air is still And sings the angel.
When all has come to pass The storm has breathed its last And the rain has washed our fears away The people....
Whispers in the wind The clouds part to let the light in And all around the people sigh As birds take to the sky.
When all across the land, The storm has breathed its last And the rain has washed our fears away And the people would not cry, The world will smile again.
(intermezzo)
Whispers in a dream The world is quiet and waiting And all around the air is still And sings the angel.
When all has come to pass The storm has breathed its last And the rain has washed our fears away The people would not stay And we can start again.
