If Hayley is supposed to be in New Zealand for album promotions this coming week, it would seem quite unlikely she'll be participating at all in the wedding. Not impossible, but unlikely. Her album promotion is much more important, of course, to help her boost sales in her home country! I just saw on a news segment today that singer Joss Stone will be there.

At this writing there is a general mood of apathy in the States toward the wedding despite all the media attention. Maybe if they held it later in the day it would hold more appeal for us.

It's getting closer. And Hayley was still in London 6 hours ago.

Just heard that Ellie Goulding will sing at the reception. Words fail me. Well guys, judge for yourselves... youtu.be/hQCp_Oubwi0

I find that many Americans are very excited about tomorrow's wedding. Some hotels are doing specials for tonight, with full English breakfast and a replica of the wedding cake BBC America is simulcasting the BBC's coverage presented by Huw Edwards, starting at 3 AM eastern time. I found a PDF version of the Official Programme which I am printing right now.

Joe, I'm sure many Americans do take a strong interest in the Royal Wedding, but from what I've read, they're in the minority..... click on The GuardianPersonally, I wish them all the best although if I ever have dinner with them I'll be sure to let them know of my disappointment that they snubbed Hayley.

I take back what I said. It is impossible now. And now my interest in the wedding is almost non-existent. But also as I said, promoting her new album in New Zealand is far more important for Hayley at this time. Especially since anyone watching the wedding will be interested in the couple, not the singers. Of course, they'd enjoy Hayley's singing if she had been there, but still there probably wouldn't be as much attention as she deserves.

Hello folks! There's speculation this morning that the Queen will make Prince William the Duke of somewhere so Kate can be the Duchess. Somehow the title Princess William of Wales doesn't work for me. Richard

Richard I think this tweet will answer your question i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes Grant Hi Grant and Richard William is now also Earl of Stratham and Baron of Carrickfergus, which makes Kate a Countess and a Baroness. The title of Duke of Clarence was also vacant but as a previous one was a candidate for "Jack the Ripper", probably best not taken up! Cheers Tony

Hello folks! I can now make a tenuous connection between Hayley and the Royal Wedding. An earlier Duke of Cambridge founded the Royal Military School of Music at Kneller Hall near Twickenham, where Hayley sang last year. Richard
