Wow! That's mighty impressive! Patricia's voice has a clarity/purity factor which ranks up there with Hayley at a similar age. And to my ears she's significantly more listenable than Jackie (not that there's anything the least bit wrong with Jackie). Her diction is brilliant as well.
This is an amazing young singer, perhaps the best since Hayley herself.

Blimey, here comes another "sensation!" Seems like every day a new one comes along now. I can't keep up with them. This market is becoming very overcrowded but in a good way.

This market is becoming very overcrowded but in a good way. when you get to my age, you just stop caring and dont notice... im still enraptured by 2001's [or fixated/ obsessed if you are my manager; is it really her business??] and am perfectly happy. hayley is quite enough for me

Yes, I agree. It seems fine new singers appear every day. But Hayley is still in a class of her own. But then, no way could Iever hear all of them sing live. And I can't be sure I would have become a Hayley addict if I hadn't heard her live first. She is perhaps the only world class singer I heard live before I heard tham on record.

Hello Martin D and Peter! Please don't discuss Hayley in this thread. This is the Other Music board. Many thanks, Richard Edit: I've now moved Peter's post to General discussions on music.

Hey, very nice to see Slavian talent poping up in this forum. Outstanding, very outstanding. Maybe a little more trained than Hayley her age.

Wow! Once upon a time in the west moved me to tears. Even Hayley has only done that once or twice for me!

Okay, there are a lot of young singers out there and we don't have to like all of them. And yes, there's only one Hayley and she will always rank highest for many fans. However.... this Patricia Janeckova is a voice to be reckoned with. She has that rare "ping" quality that will only get better and better. Keep an eye on this one. She will be huge someday.

Yes, Steven, I agree! This Patricia is great, at least as good as Jackie or Faryl (if not even better). And, finally, it seems Slavian people have better tastes than Americans and British (with all the respects to the winhners of AGT and BGT), finally such an amazing child singer wins a talent-show as deserved!

WOW after watching the videos this girl has talent. I wished I could understand what the judges were saying but it sounds like they were raving about her. Looks like one important guy in the audience compared her with Maria Callas.

Indeed, Ross... I can't understand everything, they speak fast, but atually those (either it is Czhch or Slovak) languages are quite similar to Polish, so I can have a general idea of what they are saying. Tomorrow, I'll listen closely to the part where Maria Callas is mentioned and will try to get more or less what is said there.

He said: "New Renata Tebaldi was born here for us. And Renata Tebaldi was the biggest rival for Maria Callas."
