Dear All, Hayley is due to appear at the Royal Albert Hall on 10th September 2006, where apparently she will perform one song for BBC's 'Songs of Praise' - "Big Sing" event. Unfortunately (for those who don't have tickets) the event has already sold out. I shall be at Proms in the Park on Saturday 9th September (sadly there is another soprano singing in Hyde Park this year). Do you think that they will leave the screens and the loudspeakers switched on for Sunday's performance?
What happened to our insider information? Hayley did not mention this to Classic FM.

Hi Drew (and everyone else too!) Belinda was my direct contact here! Belinda recently received a correspondence from Gerald and passed the information on to 'HWI' only a few days ago. By means of Roger's close contact with Steve Abbott (and Gerald too!), we were able to establish that Hayley will indeed be performing one song at this event. I REALLY hope she sings, 'Amazing Grace' - I suspect she might be, since about a year ago BBC's 'Songs of Praise' organised a telephone voting poll for programme viewers' favourite hymns. I registered my vote for Hayley's rendition of 'Amazing Grace'. I'm sure ITN's former news reporter Martyn Lewis, also expressed his love for the same piece, during a radio interview last year. I will see if I can find the appropriate link! Regards, Andrew

Thank you Andrew and Belinda.
It is good to know that Hayley communicates her future movements with her parents. I know the problem of teenagers phoning home to their Mums when they are miles away form home. My wife freaked out when she saw a BBC World Service News flash concerning an attempted coup in Zambia whilst our daughter was doing missionary in a Zambian prison and her boyfriend had had an appearance with the Zambian President the previous day.
Anyway I thought that Gerald and Jill caught up with Hayley's movements by watching the videos on Channel HWI TV!

Hayley does keep in touch with her family by phone and email very frequently but Gerald has told me that they look at HWI very often because (in his words) "it is the best source on the internet". I know they particularly like to see any recent photographs. Roger

I hope that they appreciate the roses that we are preparing for Hayley's return. We like to make her feel at home.

Roger Yes, Roger and Drew, I can well imagine that pictures of her are the most reassuring way for Hayley's family to know she's looking after herself properly!! We tend to catch the informal shots that would certainly give the game away if she weren't! Peter

Hello everyone, Hayley is back in London! I have been informed by a G4 fan Melody at Haven, that Hayley did indeed take part at this recording session yesterday, as planned. Here is what she posted: Hopefully we'll soon find out what Hayley's second song was. She must be totally exhausted after all that travelling - and straight into a TV recording!!! But anyway... [glow=blue,4,900] Welcome back Hayley! [/glow] Cheers, Dave

Hi All, I'm delighted to hear that Hayley sang 'All Things Bright and Beautiful' . I've always wanted to hear Hayley sing that song. Have a look at reply #64 at the following thread herePersonally I really hope the other song Hayley sang was 'Amazing Grace'... I like the fact that 'Amazing Grace' has been recorded by many artists because Hayley's version always stands out above all of the others! Regards, Andrew

Hello everyone, Thanks to ever helpful fans in even more forums (Bonita, an Aled fan posting in Katherine's forum answered my pleas!) we now know that: - Hayley's second song at The Big Sing was "Prayer" (the first being All Things Bright and Beautiful, of course) - Hayley will be appearing in the October 29th Songs of Praise(and possibly the 'preview' the week before... not sure exactly what that is though). It doesn't look like Hayley will be in the New Year's Eve broadcast, Bonita said she only appeared in the first half of the recording sessions and that is the clue, apparently. Bonita said that Hayley did wait behind for everything to finish and was there at the end with Katherine and G4 to do signing and chatting. Cheers, Dave
