Hayley is certainly throwing the dice lately...
Ronan is having a tough time at the moment, He's a good bloke and I like him.
But I'd rather poke my ears with knitting needles than listen to him sing.
(Sorry Ronan) but ye don't need me in yer fanclub and I know he has many adoring fans who would die for him.

Wow, that's quite an outfit and Hayley totally rocked it! Let's hope she rocks more of these bold dresses in the future. I'm not so sure. It's a bit odd for me. This is nothing like anything she's ever worn before, and that's the problem. It's just not Hayley! It's certainly nothing like the Hayley who wore that lovely white and purple dress at the CBA launch. If this is all the work of a stylist, I am not very impressed with their work. This must be some weird ball, but what do I know? When I think of a ball, I think of Cinderella.  I usually like everything she wears, but I'm not a big fan of this one.  I do like her hair, though! A little too much makeup, but still pretty. |

Hi Libby, The dress is very fashion forward and a risk taker -- so I can understand how it mightn't be everyone's cup of tea. But that's what makes it so exciting. I like it because I'm more interested by how she's being more adventureous. The fact that it's unlike anything she's ever worn before makes it a real talking point. Sort of makes me really intrigued see what's next! On a personal note, I've seen these big shouldered dresses in the shops and secretly wished that I had the boldness to wear them! So I have a bit of admiration for Hayley for this one. Here's some photos of her and Ronan performing:    |

The humongous shoulders along with the fancy hair make the look a little overdone for me. Then the dress is so short, it's just a weird combination. And while Hayley's all dolled up, Ronan's just wearing a T-shirt and pants? Okay...  So, I guess I can see how this dress might earn Hayley more attention from the media. Maybe this her answer to Decca wanting her to dress differently? It's extravagant while still being pretty moest. I guess it's less conservative than her usual concert outfits. I was still expecting something more along the line of the metallic dress from the CBA, or the purple one she's wearing in Jono's banner. How come she never wears that one for anything? |

Hi Jillian Great pics of Hayley's duet with Ronan at the ball. I think she looks totally amazing.
