I see that recently Susan got a royalty payment of 8 million ($ or pounds?) so not bad for coming second last year on BGT. Any way Susan is going to do concerts in New Zealand this year in Aug / Sep so I will go and see her then. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif |

Hopefully she'll adjust to her new and very unexpected worldwide fame, given time It was in today's Christchurch Press that said Susan was going to Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch at the end of August and early September so hopefully she will tour here. |

Just heard the "Wings To Fly" version by Susan on youtube.
Gosh, it's really VERY good!
Recommended for anyone who hasn't heard it yet.
Hayley has done the song too.
Both versions are amazing!!

Very much look forward to the album! Here's the listing- 1. Perfect Day 2. Hallelujah 3. Do You Hear What I Hear? 4. Don't Dream It's Over 5. The First Noel 6. O' Holy Night 7. Away In A Manger 8. Make Me A Channel Of Your peace 9. Auld Lang Syne 10. O Come All Ye Faithful Though, these are the Pre-Order contents, so the final product may differ. Perfect Day is released already. You can find the original clip on YTube I'm impressed by video and song, and already ordered her new album. I'm very curious about what it does in the charts worldwide. The Gift is definitely patchy. There are a few really good songs on it, with Perfect Day probably being the standout, but I'd recommend those with iTunes or similar listening first and then being selective in which tracks they buy.
Too many makeweight Xmas songs and I'm not entirely sure they haven't tweaked her voice a bit in the studio.
Next time I'll look at the track list before getting her album...
There are worse albums, don't get me wrong, but there are a lot better, too.

Yes I thought she sounded different from her first album. Still a very average performer I'm afraid but just because someone isn't as good as Hayley doesn't mean they are not worth listening to in their own right.
