I meant to post this earlier... I absolutely love this album ...It's going to be hard not to listen to this all the year round not just at Christmas... I love all of the songs but my absolute favourites are On the Wings of Time, Sleigh Ride, Peace Shall Come, All With you and River...River made me cry I think she sings this song with such emotion and I love the way she sings the high notes...my friends weren't sure what to make of it though ...- but they're becoming Hayley fans to which is good- but it'll probably be a gradual process... it feels like years that I've been trying to get them to listen to a Hayley album but I've succeeded at last!!! I will try to post more of a review tomorrow but I have such vast amounts of work to do at the moment it seems as though I won't get back this year...and doing my hw without Hayley to listen to will be so hard Sing

I think some of the errors are more than grammatical. For example "star" seems to be translated in the sense of the star of a show (the leading role), rather than an actual star which would be "etoile".
This si of course a reference to the Star of Bethlehem, which I will forever associate with Hayley for very personal reasons.
And "Ils disent" might be better as "on dit".
With more time I could look at it moe thoroghtly, but that will do for now.

Hi Graemek ...she's now asking for the lyrics in French to All with you, and my parents are asking for them in English.. ) Sing... All With You On the wind the snow is drifting Dances round my weary feet Faraway a bell is ringing Echoes through the empty streets Oh I can see you I can still play make-believe Oh I can feel you Near me I’ll be sending a thousand kisses I am far But I am all with you On the night the air is bracing Lights are gracing every street I can hear the children singing Midnight bringing hopes of peace Oh I can see you I can still play make-believe Oh I can feel you Near me I’ll be sending a thousand kisses I am far But I am all with you I’ll be sending a thousand wishes Know on Christmas I am all with you Graeme

In the You Tube comments about my video of clips about Winter Magic, I had a viewer comment that they thought Hayley sounds younger on this album -- I replied that it might have something to do with her singing higher than usual.
What do you think?

What do you think? Hi Jillian, Hayley has an "innocence" in her voice, a vulnerability which is often attached to "childlikeness". She's also gentle & peaceful by nature, not to mention humble. We're unused to these qualities persisting into womanhood....sadly That's MO !!! Graeme

Graeme Hi Sing...here's the French...It has to be checked by a french speaker to make sure the wrong senses of words have not been chosen by the program !!! My french is at best sketchy...very sketchy. [French lyrics deleted]Graeme

Sorry Graeme, but your French lyrics were in breach of the ProBoards Terms of Service, so I had to delete them. Please see this thread for more information. Richard

Hello Libby! I totally agree with you, but unfortunately ProBoards have been known to close forums down without warning because somebody posted in a foreign language. We can't take that risk. Richard

Hello everyone Just picked up the following tweet from Ohiyooo indicating a Taiwan release of "Winter Magic". From previous experience, Taiwan usually package their releases in boxes or slip cases, sometimes with additional items. This will be of interest to collectors. If correct, the quoted track list is at variance with the Japanese and UK releases in that "Carol Of The Bells" is replaced by "Love Came Down At Christmas". "Corpus Christi Carol" is shown as a bonus track. Interesting Heh!? Best wishes Grant

It is a pleasure to be a part of it... There is a great book called Pay It Forward by Catherine Ryan Hyde well worth a read, well worth contemplation of the concept....

I only know the movie 'Pay it Forward'
But I think the movie gives the same message as the book.

I only know the movie 'Pay it Forward' But I think the movie gives the same message as the book. Yes, same story, different ending in the movie though, The book is devastatingly sad, but hopeful at the end. The on topic bit : the positioning of the Universal / Decca Logos is different on the two versions of Winter Magic I've seen so far
