I hope all y'all over there are taking care of yourselves. I don't know what I'd do if something happened to one of you.
Stay safe.

Awesome concert tonight in Manchester. I had never heard of Ariana Grande before the Manchester attack. She has a decent voice, but her diction is terrible. That's not the point though, what matters is she is a decent human being who deserves credit for putting tonight's concert together, and she is only 23 years old. I'm sure the people of Manchester will never forget her.

They showed the concert in NZ too and I also enjoyed it. Love will always conquer hate.

I was at home about ten miles away when the latest attack happened. I've marked myself as safe on Facebook. Richard Latest attack. That's quite chilling, when you think about it. The enemy within. We can but carry on as normal though, Londoners out and about today and tonight's Ariana Grande concert in Manchester were good examples of that (very moving at times) and I am sure that same spirit will continue. A great concert for a great cause arranged in an unprecedented timeframe of just a few days. All credit to Ariana and her team.
Very emotional too at times and Coldplay was the musical highlight for me by far.

That's fascinating - very different from her usual stuff. And she is clearly a fine singer. Martin D

Prayers for safety to Hayley, her husband and all of London! Bob in the US... Hi Bob USA, Welcome. I know there are a lot of Bobs in the USA but I am just wondering if you are Bob of the wood cutting variety, Welcome anyway Bob. I got to watch some of the concert, really enjoyed Ariana and Katy Perry, it was all quite emotional at times. I did notice a lot of the stage equipment, audio monitors etc. were brand new, I mean spotless, pristine first time out of the box. I wonder was that for security reasons.

Hello Bob from me as well! Welcome and enjoy your time with us.
i watched some of the One Love Manchester concert on the BBC world news channel...the 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' song was performed beautifully by Ariana. I understand the choir in the concert were comprised by some of the young people affected and/or injured in the terror blast.
Throughout the whole of last week and into this one...I thought of "you lot" ... my friends here who frequent concert-halls and arenas for a wide range of singers. Then I thought about those of you living in London or quite near, and those who may travel through the city, as mentioned by members earlier. Remember that evil and hatred will never win, my love and friendship for you shall never fade. America stands shoulder to shoulder with the UK.

I don't think it's Bob C from the official forum. There's one little hint in his post that leads me to this conclusion. For one thing, Bob C isn't very enthusiastic.

That's fascinating - very different from her usual stuff. And she is clearly a fine singer. Martin D I had forgotten about that, she has a nice voice and I enjoyed it. One of my grand daughters absolutely loves her and stayed up way after her bedtime to watch it all. I enjoyed the concert too, the organisers and everyone involved had an immense task to put it all together from 'let's do it' to "action" in 9 days in what could be a record time for such a concert. There were not only 55,000 people there but another 65,000 at the Manchester United football stadium 600 yards away in a match that finished less than 3 hours before the Ariana concert, as well as the problems of that awful London terrorist attack the night before, it's hard to imagine a more difficult set of circumstances but it rightly went ahead as planned, and was handled magnificently. Ariana Grande and all who put this thing together and have raised millions for the victims and families deserve all the praise that's being showered upon them. Not only did we have massive fund raising and some very moving moments but we had dancing policemen as well. Jolly good show! Dave

Comet, Joe and all,
Bob from Florida, USA here. Thanks for the greetings. To answer Comet, I do cut a little wood here and there for business and therapy (while listening to Hayley). I am in the music business from the institutional church angle....pipe organ manufacturing and project consulting.
My wife and I will be visiting the UK later this year to visit some business associates and vacation. Cant wait to visit some great UK locations with notable pipe organs.
I have been a Hayley fan for about 10 years. She is an amazing and gifted musical talent...as well as appearing to be a "real" person!
Anyway, that's the short story from rainy Palm Harbor, FLA USA....
Bob
