Hello Paul  Celtic Woman will be close to my area, but my interest has also waned in the group. On June 5th they will be at the Bethel Woods Center of the Arts - located on the site of the Woodstock 1969 festival. Ticket prices $30 to $100. Hi Joe I was hoping that Chloe would give Hayley a call and tell her there was a place in the Celtic Woman line-up for her. In many ways I thought that being part of a team brought out the very best in Hayley. |

The Platinum Concert was great, so good to see so many people smiling and having a good time, Diana Ross still doing the business. Andrea Bocelli, brilliant. The flying drone light display was pretty cool too.

I enjoyed it too, and the best bit for me was The Queen's tea party with Paddington Bear at the start. What a nice surprise to learn about her secret marmalade sandwich kept for later in her handbag!   |

Oh well done to the English Ladies soccer team. Heart stopping stuff, best soccer I have seen in years, entertaining, sometimes reckless but brilliant and talented and well deserved to all those lovely ladies who have worked so hard to produce this result.

Congratulation from Germany to the english team. The euros title is well deserved. Even if the game winning goal fell in extra time the english team was a little bit more determined to go for the title. So we had the chance to listen to Neil Diamond "Sweet Caroline".

Thanks Bernd, and commiserations too for losing such a close match. But let's face it, you've had a vast amount of success in this tournament over the last two decades, glad you let someone else win it this time. The crowds were amazing too, the two largest stadiums in England full to capacity in the first (Old Trafford Manchester) and final matches of the competition and a record attendance for any Euros, women or men! Womens' football is certainly becoming more popular these days and I am sure the public interest and the amount of money coming into the womens' game will surge from here onwards. |

Hi Dave, to be honest: the men´s world cup title in December is more important for the Germans.
Btw: there can be a Semi-final or Final England - Germany!

France v South Africa was the best game I've seen in many a long year. England have a tough task against the Springboks in next Saturday's semi.

Saddened to hear of the death of Denny Laine of The Moody Blues and Wings. One of the main supporting pillars of my musical diet of the seventies, RIP Denny.
