Hi Dave,
Thanks so much for your efforts in bringing this very moving performance to all of us!
Cheers, Joe

My goodness, you had me worried there for a minute, Grant... That's nothing, Grant. I rang him up tonight and worried him for an hour! Thanks for the video, Dave. It was a supreme performance. And Hayley and Jonathan did pretty well too! Roger

Nothing works for me. The Windows Media and the one from the "video vault" just sit there and buffer forever, going up and down, up and down, and never getting anywhere. I tried the first one, and it started, but immediately stopped. The same things happened with a couple recent TV performnaces. The recent Amazing Grace performance started, but immediately stopped, too. This is extremely frustrating. I guess I'll have to hope Youtube has it. It's always something I really want to see. Windows Media normally should work for me, but for some reason Dave's files don't usually work well for me. I have WM, so what else am I supposed to do?

Okay, I found both songs on Youtube. I didn't like Here's to the Heroes, because I could barely hear Hayley at all until the last very high note at the end, and she hardly sang anything anyway. I liked Today Won't Come Again better because of her solo part, and I could hear her better. Another high note at the end! It's nice to know she can still hit those high notes beautifully, even if she prefers not to do so on a regular basis, and even while recovering from a cold!

Hi Libby, this is probably because of slow internet connectivity - it could be a local problem near you or a transatlantic problem, and either would tend to be at its worst during the evening, your time. Have you tried it at a different time of day? What speed is your connection normally? One way to overcome 'broken' file downloads is to use a web browser that includes a download manager - Firefox 3 for example. You can pause and resume downloads with that, and if the connection is interrupted, you can normally resume it a short while later without losing what's already downloaded. Download the files first using Firefox or a dedicated download manager, and play them later from your own computer. By the way, Today Won't Come Again is up on our YouTube Channel HWIVid and hopefully the high quality version too when YT get round to it (if your connection is fast enough). Cheers, Dave

Hi All, You may remember that one of the bands performed the theme tune ('Gonna Fly Now') to the film 'Rocky' during the Festival of Remembrance? Can anybody remember which of the Forces and Regiment performed it at the Royal Albert Hall last Saturday evening? I really love this tune- it's great! Have a listen to it for yourself here. The music has been playing in my mind all day today ever since I tried to sing it first thing this morning in the shower! Andrew

Hi Dean,
I don't know how she does it. She did the same at her Northampton concert a week ago, starting a bit tentatively, but really belting it out at the end. Giving us an absolutely stunning performance, even though when we met her afterwards we could tell she wasn't well. Somehow she manages to hide how she feels on stage, and even to hide the effect the infection must be having on her voice. There is a lot that is magical about Hayley's performances anyway, like her impossibly beautiful voice, and this is another example of doing something you would think is impossible.

Martin I think it is in part to her dedication, her passion for performing & not wanting to let her fans down, I found her to be an extremely sweet & kind person who thinks a lot of her fans. I understand what you mean about impossible. it reminds me of how close I came to being in a wheelchair for the rest of my life had I not worked very hard for 12 months after having 6 operations 8 years ago that only has a 40% success rate. it could also be said that Hayley's journey from releasing WITA could be classed almost the same...
