Last picture. Where on earth was that taken? i find the background fascinating. Peter S. Hi Peter, The last photograph was taken backstage in St David's Hall, Cardiff on 28th March 2004. That package which Hayley was about to open was a gift from Keith, Simon and me. It contained an HWI sweatshirt! Roger Thank you Roger for the information. Peter S.

Like many I have never met nor e-mailed Simon. I knew Keith via e-mails and now this site has lost two men who created a wonderful site dedicated to a wonderful singer. I know Roger and Dave will keep it going. My prayers are with all of you on HWI.
From the USA, may God bless Simon's family, and Simon THank You for all you did. We will nevwer forget you.

After reading this thread several times, I thought it appropriate that I said something..
I've known Simon for a couple of years now, since Hayley's Pure tour. He had a spare ticket to the Cardiff concert and offered it to me - something which I gladly accepted as I'd just seen Hayley a couple of days before in Bradford.
Over the years, I have met and spoken with Simon many times, some friendly and some not so. We've had many long conversations both related to Hayley, Taylor Caruso Kirk and others, along with things far more personal in nature.
It's been over a year since we last spoke, but I'll always remember the person who offered me that ticket, enabling me to meet the HWI crowd, and especially Keith.. and who, along with Keith, created the HWI world.
Thanks Simon.. wherever you are
~Chris

Hello
I would just like to pay my tribute to Simon as I only heard about what happened yesterday and I am very sorry to hear about his passing away.
I have never meet Simon, but I spoke to him on the phone and e-mailed him a few times while I was a member of the HWI team and always admired his support of Hayley.
He will be sadly missed.
David

I was very distressed to hear about Simon's death today. I had known him for nearly 7 years, but regretfully we had not spoken in the last few. I wish that I had made more of an effort to stay in touch. He was always a good friend to me.

It saddens me very deeply to come onto this site (something I haven't done for awhile) only to find this very sad news. I have never met Simon, but have heard many stories of the wonderful things he has contributed to this wonderful site as well as the support he has given to Hayley and her fans.
My thoughts are with Simon's family and friends during this difficult time.

I'm so sorry that I only found out today about Simon.
I have met Simon on a few occassions along with his wife Shirley. When I first became a Hayley fan I went as an audience member of a chat show she was appearing on. It was there that I met Simon and Keith for the first time - along with Simon's wife, Shirley. They were both lovely, genuine and happy people.
It saddens me greatly to know that the two people that originated this website, and the two people that I originally met back in 2003 are now no longer with us.
Rest in peace, Simon, wherever you may be.
My thoughts go out to Shirley, and to all of Simon's family and friends.
