I never met Simon, but as far as I'm concerned this site is wonderful and he was part of it which makes him an admirable person. Thanks to him, I am able to come here and meet other wonderful people. May Simon be in a better place and rest in peace.

My 1000 th post is dedicated to Simon, Who along with Keith created this great site and forum we all have had so much enjoyment from and making great friendships that lets hope we have for a very long time.till we too are called home. Simon will be missed ,but remembered fondly by us all for his dedicated endless hours in support of the HWI site and his other 9 or so sites. I have known Simon for many years before the HWI Forum, through good times and bad. One email i was reading in the last few days He was pulling his kitchen apart and trying to juggle all the HWI stuff, and whoops some of it was my fault , i kept sending him stuff. But he loved every minute of it i think. Keith had ordered two copies of Pure from NZ. Because in those days we got the album first Simon was waiting patiently or maybe not so patiently for Keith to send his on to him . He said Guess when it finally gets here i better cancel the whole day as far as anything else is concerned (Yip) you got that right simon. Will miss you Simon Belinda Thank you Belinda for this splendid 1000th post. I shall do the same and dedicate my 1500th post to Simon who has my eternal gratitude for creating along with Keith such a lively & cheerful community. Rest in peace and God Bless you, Simon.

Hi All, I am also very saddened to hear that Simon has passed away- rest in peace Simon. I know that Roger and Dave together with all the members of 'HWI' will continue to maintain the extemely high standards of the 'HWI' Website which Simon and Keith originally set out to achieve through their dedication to support and promote Hayley's work. Andrew May I add my thoughts to yours, Andrew. "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and He will live with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and will be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!"Then He said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true." (Rev. 21:3-5) Love, Marianne

Hi guys
What a nice touch to hear "Abide With Me" played over the tribute to Simon on the front page when I logged on this morning.
And how very touching Belinda and Stephany to dedicate your 'milestone' posts to Simon. I think he would have liked that!
(Congratulations to you both by the way!)
Love Grant

Let me admit that not only am I someone who never knew Simon, but I've never even heard of him until now. However, since I am having a difficult time holding back the tears from reading these posts, I only find it appropriate if I'd pay my respects as well. All I can say is that we can all feel forever grateful that he was able to help give us such a wonderful website and this wonderful outlet in which we can all come together to express our love for Hayley and celebrate the music and talents she is gracing us with. I can't think of any better Hayley song to dedicate in his memory other than the one that's currently being played on the HWI homepage, and here's a link to Hayley's performance of that song from the appearance she made on the "Hour of Power" program a few weeks ago: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwB22tnl7FcAlthough I never knew you Simon, thank you for all of your contributions that you have made for us, for Hayley, and most importantly, for HWI. I truly believe deep down that you are now in a place of complete peace, serenity, and bliss; a place where Hayley's music is unending and more beautiful than ever. God Speed, my friend. You will ALWAYS have a special place in our minds and in our hearts. Sincerely, Vanni

Simon, although you have left the earth plane... you will never leave our hearts. Thanks for all you did with HWI... and enjoy your new found life and energy in the realms beyond this one, or 'beyond the veil' as I like to say... Keep Smiling in remembrance and joy, that would be his dearest wish if he could communicate to us all again easily now

Ken, a friend of Simon's has just telephoned me. He tells me that Simon was "himself" right to the end when he was "spiritually and mentally at peace" and that he had a "good passing".
The funeral is to be held on Friday 15th June in his home city of Lincoln.

I am deeply saddened by Simon's sudden passing. I have had both him and Shirley on the Prayer Chain out at church for close to a year.
I regret that I never got to meet Simon, but as with others, was in contact with him when I got my HWI Sweatshirt, and we talked frequently on MSN Messenger. His son contacted me recently through that forum and informed me that Simon was failing. I didn't even know he had a son!
It is because of Simon and Keith that I got to know both Charlotte and Hayley. He has blessed my life abundantly with his significant contributions to both of their careers. Thanks to Simon, my life is better. Now he is with our Lord, and I suspect that Keith and him already have their heads together and who knows, are planning a heavenly website!
In tribute to Simon I shall now go listen to Hayley singing Abide with Me.
God Bless You All
Master Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight and Defender of the Universe!

Roger, thank you so much for the pictures. They look very happy and I'm sure they keep smiling where they are. Has anyone warned Hayley about this? She will be deeply saddened to hear the news. God Bless you, Simon!

And do you know where it is being held? Lovely also to see pictures of Simon. I had no idea what he looked like until this morning. Best wishes Grant P.S. Stephany - yes, Hayley is aware and she mentioned quietly to Roger on Monday as we were leaving, how saddened she was to hear the news.

Thanks for the pictures Roger,
Whilst I have spoken to Simon many times on the phone whilst being responsible for the co-ordination between the forum and Simon, I too had never met him which saddens me, In all my dealings with Simon he was professional and polite, and he will be greatly missed.
May God Bless you Simon, and keep you safe now that you have found paradise. May your family be comforted during this difficult time.
Steve.

Like most of other HWI members I never met Simon but had a brief dealing with him earlier this year to purchase my HWI sweatshirt. Even via email he came over as a caring and considerate person.
His ever-lasting legacy will be this website.
Martin
ps If there is a request from Simon's close family for donations to be forwarded to a particular (cancer) charity then could someone let me know.
