Hello everyone,
You may have noticed that Keith has been missing from this forum for the past week. He has now relayed his consent for me to make the following statement.
Keith was admitted to hospital on Thursday of last week and it has now been confirmed that he has a growth in the oesophagus. It is not yet known whether this growth is benign or malignant but it is confirmed that it has not spread to any other part of his body. He is due to undergo surgery next Monday for its removal and we hope to have better news which I will relay to you shortly thereafter. In the meantime, I am sure you will all join me in wishing him well.
Keith, our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Roger Thank you for this information Roger, it was a great shock to learn of Keith's sudden admission to hospital. I think the absence of any spread to other parts of the body is an encouraging sign and now, we must hope that next Monday's surgery goes well and is completely successful. Keith, my thoughts, too, are with you... and I very much look forward to seeing you up and about again soon... and back where you belong - in here  (and your other fansites and forums!). I am grievously sorry to hear of this illness. However, the fact that it has not metastasized is good, though. I will pray my hardest for your swift recovery.

Keith had mentioned he was to have a test last time I saw him . I had since emailed him but not heard from Keith .
