To one and all... "Thank you everyone".
Prayers are ALWAYS welcome - no need or reason for excuses what-so-ever. We all have our beliefs - even if it's simply an acceptance of some ONE , or some THING greater than we mere mortals. Concerns and thoughts are heard, just as well as prayers, and prayer-circles around the world are in action on this one!

Please read carefully..
I don't know how this idea of an operation on Monday came to life, but whatever you've heard so far IS obviously incorrect and most certainly a mistaken understanding.
Firstly, this is NOT "sad" news, apart from one single aspect - it's "our" Keith who's in the hospital. Upsetting, yes, but I firmly believe the worst is now over... So far all news coming direct to me from Bill (and this morning from the horse's mouth), has so far ALL been better news than the initial impact of learning he had a "mechanical blockage" somewhere "in his plumbing system"
Itinerary:
Friday 1: Case meeting to discuss current information to hand in light of tests so far completed - so far non-conclusive.
Friday 2: Transport to and from Fazackerly hospital for a second endoscopy (tube down throat into upper intestine) with ultrasound scan on more complex equipment than has so far been used. This is to better determine mass and exact positioning of growth.
Saturday and Sunday: Rest and yet more rest.
Monday: This is the earliest any results will be available on which to base possible procedures, surgical, medical or otherwise. Any operation or further procedure will depend on the results of all tests and case meetings, and NO procedure can even be considered until Keith has been restored to sufficient health and energy to undergo any such treatment as may be suited to his particular case.
Fact 1: As far as has been determined, growth has NOT spread to nearby organs or into the blood-stream. That is all anyone, as yet, knows for certain.
Fact 2: Blockage in NOT in the oesophagus as previously believed, but located almost directly behind the Sternum (base of rib-cage) some seven or eight inches above the navel)
Fact 3: Any operation, if considered viable, cannot even be considered until Keith is strong enough to undergo such procedure, invasive or otherwise.
Fact 4: Keith is currently in no more danger than before he entered the hospital. Do please bear in mind that, in a modern hospital, he is most emphatically far less "at risk" than if he had remained at home!
Fact 5: Off the record... Present-day survival rate in such cases is very, very high indeed...
Kind thoughts and/or prayers are welcomed, as are POSITIVE get-well sentiments posted to the Group thread set up for Keith (off-topic) by and thanks to Roger.
Note: Keith is able to access and read messages posted to the Group, as may any other "visitor", but is unable to sign-in or post.
When I spoke with him this afternoon, Keith's main concern was that all should run as smoothly as ever, in spite of his continued absence. Let's show him that is indeed the case.
Get well soon, my friend, we ALL miss you.
