Hi Belinda,
That is unlikely to happen but if it did, I cannot imagine a better result. It would mean that the collection that we have chosen would be available and that Decca have made the right selection according to this group of fans.

'Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again' - it's an awful version of the song (down mostly to the arrangement). 'Bright Eyes', in fact, I just don't like that CD. I think 'Pure' should be her best of album.

Ave Maria (Schubert)... I prefer the Bach or Caccini.
And while we're at it... She Moves Thru the Fair.
This is getting so difficult!!

I'd give the boot to "Benedictus" -- I stopped liking it once it became a Lexus commercial.

I probably won't win many friends here but it's goodbye to Wuthering Heights!

I will miss Wuthering Heights... But I guess that's a good way to approach it... we all know that there are songs that would usually have to be incuded: - Pokarekare Ana, her signature song - Dell Amore, because Andrea is there - What You Never Know, because she co-wrote it - Wuthering Heights, because of its popularity - etc. But for this thread, it might be more fun to keep it to personal tastes.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. That's the best song ever. Oh well. I'll kick out her 'Both Sides Now'. The arrangement, again, is terrible.

By the way, I wouldn't kick out any of the WITA songs by default, if they were on her greatest hits, I would get to hear them!
I will get you Steve... I will find your favourite and I will kick it out! MWAH HA HA HA!

Hi Nicola! I think you just did... I am flabbergasted to read than anyone didn't want this song on Odyssey. It's far and away the best thing on the CD. Who cares if it's already been done to perfection by the likes of Joni Mitchell and Judy Collins? Hayley's "BSN" [Both Sides Now!] comes a full generation (or two) later and is, to my ears, the definitive rendition. I used to worship the Collins' version but now I can't imagine it in anyone's voice but Hayley's.

Yes, Oksy!
I rule! I wonder if anyone will dare eliminate Pokarekare Ana... I won't, as it's the very first song I heard of Hayley back in 2002.

Me neither, Pokarekare Ana is a special song that reflects who she is. But I like the vocalise version MUCH more than the US version.
I'm going to say goodbye to My Heart Belongs to You. Too poppy.

I will nominate 'Always' (from 'Lilo and Stitch 2'), simply because I prefer to keep the others in for a little longer!

I'll eliminate Ave Maria (Cacchini), because it is Bach's version that is the best. I'll get rid of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' too. That song is a pet-hate of mine.
