Great stuff there Richard, thanks! I was a bit surprised to see how many Welsh artists have been allowed to perform on the album.... six out of the 19 tracks are marked "Wales" (not including the main theme), all the larger countries get fewer and the nearest in population to Wales (NZ) gets only two! Cheers, Dave

The beginning of the song is in French by the way i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI couldn't resist to post a few captures - Hayley was of course wearing proudly the All Blacks jersey! She also seems to be having lots of fun with All Angels and Will Martin (a Kiwi too) during a part of the video I suppose there's a great chance that this video is broadcasted on Classic FM Stephany

I was a bit surprised to see how many Welsh artists have been allowed to perform on the album.... Good point, Dave. It seems as though they have more anthems to share with the world Even on the video clip, the Welsh are very present. Did you notice that Katherine Jenkins has also two solo verses (at the start of the song and near the end) whilst Hayley has none! Anyway, it looks like they all had a lot of fun doing this. I liked the moment when Hayley throws the ball to her fellow Kiwi Will Martin and then everyone tries to get it Richard, a million thanks again for posting the link i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifStephany

Hayley's official website has just been updated with the same promotional blurb posted above by Richard. You can buy all the tracks online on 7digital.com. I'll guess that it will be the vocalise version of 'Pokarekare Ana', because that's how Hayley always sings it in her concerts. Of course I may be wrong! It looks as though it is going to be a brand new recording of 'Pokarekare Ana'. An Australian webstore ( Chaos.com) is listing the track as being sung by Hayley Westenra, Francois Rive, Robbie Mcintosh, The Metro Voices, Te Tau Choir, Jenny O'grady and Ian Dean. They are accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Stephany

Umm, why is soft, gentle song like "Pokarekare Ana" used in the same breath as the word "rugby"? I don't know about anyone else, but I listen to it and and want to relax, not compete in a bone-crushing sport.

l love this video. I played it again and again. Katherine in particular is in fine voice, and although Hayley doesn't actually ever sing solo, (the nearest is a sort of short duet with Lesley) she is there in the background most of the way through adding her special magic, you can't mistake Hayley. Hayley I think is very very good at doing things behind the scenes that a lot of people probably wouldn't notice. She did the same thing for Celtic Woman. Looking at what else is on the CD, I probably won't buy it, but I would buy a DVD that included the footage we saw. Fabulous. This video BTW is advertised on the front page of Hayley's official Website and on Katherine's website, and probably on those of all the other artists involved.

Hello everyone, I just received this CD and I can confirm that the recording of 'Pokarekare Ana' is NOT a new one. It is not the 'vocalize' version either I really like Will Martin's 'Hine E hine' although it is quite different to Hayley's version. I saw the CD at HMV Manchester (Market Street) this morning. It was touted as the 'Classic FM selection of the month'! The video clip of 'World In Union' doesn't feature the entire song, by the way. The All-stars CD version ends with Katherine's voice (I think! And a man's voice but I can't tell whose it is ). Stephany
