That looks good from here, hope you get years of pleasure from it,
a drop of meths or an alcohol wipe / surgical wipe should get the marker off the case, the marker looks quite fresh so it should come off it easily.

Probably a long shot at this point but I might as well ask: does anyone have an extra copy they'd be willing to sell?

Just wondering if anyone here is fortunate enough to own WITA. I heard some clips of it on this site and they were amazing. Hard to believe how young she was! Yes, I have one of the version which she minted 1,000 of. Shows her leaning on her arm. I used to have one of the Holy 70, but sold it in 2009 to a guy in the UK. Sorry, my copy is not for sale lol. Although I might be willing to buy more copies...

Hi Tom, The best way to get one is probably on DiscogsTwo of them were listed recently, CLICK HERE one of them appeared to be a genuine one with the seller in New Zealand. If you go back through these threads you will find plenty of information about where NOT to buy from. It takes a little bit of time to set up a Discogs account with a "Wantlist" which will let you know when one becomes available. Also you can do a search and save it on E Bay and it will e mail you when one comes on the market. Be patient, you will get one eventually and probably at a lower price than they were selling at 10 years ago.

The ones on Discogs are still a little pricey (almost $300 CAD), although I imagine that's cheaper than original copies have sold for in the past. I did come across this on Ebay (it's a COPY not an original): www.ebay.com/itm/Hayley-Westenra-Walking-In-The-Air-2000-COPY-OF-1ST-EVER-PROMO-CD-ON-CD-R/174344787544?hash=item2897c25658:g:gcMAAOSw6D9e~~cBEven though it's a copy, it's a reasonably priced way to be able to listen to the songs, I guess. Thinking about it.

Hi Tom. The WITA that was listed from New Zealand sold quite quickly after I posted the above information about Discogs and I thought it was you who got it.

I ordered a copy from Discogs.
I haven't tried ordering through there before.
I checked the price history for the item and offered about half of what they were asking (well under the previous lowest selling price) and it was accepted promptly. I was kind of expecting to get a nasty reply that my offer was insultingly low. I suppose I could have gotten away with offering less, but I suppose I'll be happy I offered enough and be grateful for the opportunity to finally have one of these.
We'll see how this goes.

Thank you so much, comet. I owe you a lot . A few weeks ago I clicked on your link and it was still or again there. It turned out the seller was Penny Lane Records in Christchurch. In short, I got it via airmail for a really reasonable price. The ultimative new highlight of my collection! The music is really beyond beautiful, especially her version of "How deep is your love". I still haven't given up hope yet that maybe one day in the future Hayley will sign the cover... Kind regards from Germany Tristan

Well done Tristan , surprised that I did not get a notification from Discogs that it was there, I am sure it is still on my want list.
