Just wondering if anyone here is fortunate enough to own WITA. I heard some clips of it on this site and they were amazing. Hard to believe how young she was!

Hi Someone,
I think that WITA is a very rare item. Yeah, I LOVE the songs on this CD. 'Eternal Flame' is one of my favourites. I'm desperate to hear 'How Deep is Your Love' sung by Hayley.

Hi Joe and Someone,
I have the album Walking in The Air,it is a great album to have,i wish we could persuade Hayley and her family to make another limited release maybe for some special occasion .There are many Hayley Fans wanting to add it too their collection.
If you have not listened to Groovy kind of love go to archives in the main site bottom of page and press 2000, Hayley did the song at a fundraising telethon sort of thing. There was a lot of disturbance on the tv when i was recording it.,But at least you can see it

Hi All, Yeah this is the one I think everyone wants, especially as its Hayley's first recording and also to complete the cd collection. It would be great if Hayley and Co. decided to bring out a limit amount of copies, maybe in the future . Belinda, I look forward to seeing and hearing it, as all I've seen so far was a photo from the front cover. Cheers, Emmett i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hi everyone, Gerald once said that the family are not keen for Walking In The Air to spread too much (or words to that effect). That maybe simply because it was only ever intended to be for family and friends. Whatever the reason, we have to respect their wishes. Roger

Hi Roger, thanks for that information. I think it shows great character to keep WITA a memento for family and friends. As it would be so easy to re-release, but they have strong principals. Fair play to them, even though I would love a copy . Emmett

i don't think it was just for families and friends as it was sold in the Sounds Cd Store in the four main centres. It is probably that it was not made in a big studio and it was backing tracks used and not orchestras the backing is inferior not Hayley . Compared with what her cds today are like,Looks like it will have to be a picnic in a park in London everyone,to listen to it ,London HWI fans some one bring a CD Player.

Hi Natasha,
Yes Eternal Flame is one of Hayleys best on WiTA as we have fondly named the album,Would be interesting to hear her sing it now days.
Time to Say Goodbye is also one of my favourites
Most of the songs on the album bring back great memories of Hayley performing them in Talant Quests etc
Maybe oneday they will be available for all to enjoy

Gerrit, I don't know how much you would want for WiTA, or if you are willing to part with it, but I am one of these types who believe that even the Ark of the Covenant can be had for the right price. And that was just a box... but to me... WiTA is the Holy Grail, the True Cross, the Titulus, the Shroud, His swaddling clothes, a jar of the manger dirt, and one of the flasks from Cana all in one. Pretty valuable, to say the least... It is my perpetual search... on and on...

Hi cesium133, Welcome to the forum . Yes, you're right, anything is available for the right price. Problem is, the right price has to exist before it becomes available. In this case - there is no right price. I received the album as a gift from a friend. Now, for that reason, even the thought of trying to make money out of such a gift would be abhorrent to me. So if i were to pass it on to someone else - I would be passing it on to friend without charge, but than only to a friend whom I would consider to be more deserving than me of owning the copy! If I may stay a bit on the religious theme you introduced, somewhere in th Bible book Ecclesiastes it says: "Cast your bread upon the waters - and it will return to you after many days." I have always taken that to mean - be prepared to serve others/do good to them, without expecting anything in return". And then, unexpectedly, from somewhere, someone will do good to you. So, I hope you stick around and are prepared to become an active (and pro-active) member here. That would be your best chance in obtaining your Holy Grail . But, if your only motivation then is - I only want to do this because I want to get hold of WiTA - forget it. You won't succeed. Because in that case, you won't be casting your bread upon the water, all you are doing then is angling for a nibble from some promishing fish. That means - you are looking for a return on an investment. That's no way to get hold of a Holy Grail .... But, seeing that this is your perpetual search, you will still have plenty of time on your hand .... Hope you are not too disappointed at my response Cheers, Gerrit
