Here is something else about WITA which I find extremely interesting, It says something about the integrity of the kind of people Hayley attracts with her music. Not ONE single soul on either forum EVER asked me to make them a copy of this album for them, Not one ! Amazing ! If I didn't have a copy of this, I am not quite sure I could have shown the same restraint ! But just in case you are thinking..........The answer is No. The last one on ebay went for $3,100 and in a way it was well worth it. I regret that "we" missed it the first time it came up for auction  |

hi all,
i just bought it, on trademe earlier this week... i love the irony of starting it with time to say goodbye.. funny.
its soo pretty [sorry, not a better review, but only 10min in, had to wait till lunch]; who would have thought that someone so young could sing like that.

so is it 70 copies as was claimed in the auction blurb, 1000, or 2000? It depends which version you have! The original version consisted of just 70 copies and has a large "Hayley Dee Westenra" above a very small "Walking in the Air" beneath on its home produced insert. It also contains an extra track "Part of my World". "Part of My World" was excluded from the 'official' release catalogue number cdhw001 which has 13 tracks. 1000 copies of this release were produced. Best wishes Grant |

for 3100US i'd want some sort of guarrentee s to the authenticity fo the copy... i note from pictures [#48] that my cd [for example] seems the same as the pictures [the writing is more brown than blue, but i digress].... is there anything written [by machine] on the bottom of the disc itself?? most cds have writing etched onto the metal in the centre
thoughts/ comments??

You want an 'authentic' original? ...I love the album...fantastic. But as for having a 'collectors item' which has serial numbers etc etc I'm afraid that leaves me cold. |

I have edited your post above. Please do not discuss practices illegal, or that Hayley and her family have said they do not wish to happen (we know they do not wish WITA to spread). We will allow discussion of legitimate originals only because originals changing hands does not involve an increase of the number in circulation and as far as we know, is legal.

let me put my statement in context for you; if, for example, WITA comes up for auction tomorrow, and the price is 4000$ are actually telling me you would pay that without knowing whether it was a properly released copy of that album?? i wouldnt. most cd, dvds what have you have a little mote etched into the center of the underside of the cd so that it can be verified as to whether it is "officially released" or not. my question simply is: is that so for WITA. i dont want it numbered in the sense of being 1 in 250 or what have you
an alternative way of looking at the issue is: if you had a copy of WITA, how would you know if it was "real" or pirated?
either way, its still hayleys voice and it sounds lovely.. im just saying i wouldnt feel it was as precious.
i wouldnt intentionally buy an unauthorised copy, nor would i make one. on principle. i love hayley too much.
enough clarity?

 Hi Spiderman, Congratulations the album is pretty awesome The only thing i noticed in the pics on trade me was there was no sticker on the cd case, But maybe they replaced that i bought my cd for the above price k1w1 Ps Note the spelling of Westenra |

hi belinda, everyone... WITA is just such an amzing album,. i think i may have listened to it 5.5 times already; one of my workmates described me as being like a cat in catnip
judging from the pictures [#48, 50] mine is identical to those previously sold here. though my computer has some doubts as to what its playing.. go figure.
im bringing it down to blackbarn to see if i can get it signed by her.
i figured the missing sticker had simply been removed. the case is scratched around there, so someone may have made an "asthetic" decision.
you folks do realise that WITA is going to end up like a stamp dont you... cat fights on trademe over posession of a first or second, or whatever printing.. lol.
