Does anyone have Walking in the Air?

I recently purchased WITA (the 1000-copy run) on E-Bay for $860 US and received it today. It's amazing to me that a mere child could sound so wonderful. I only became aware of Hayley about 7 years ago and have been a fan ever since. During that time I've longed for a copy of WITA and thought I'd have to kill to get one. Fortunately I only had to spend an exhorbitant amound of cash to do so. To me it's worth it. It is now the prized possession of all my 30 Hayley CDs (I buy every version I can find). And my Haley CDs are my favorites of my collection of over 5,200 albums.

i know that hayley has two cds before pure came out....her first ever cd she only sold to people on the streets is the only one i havent heard yet...if ANYONE knows or has the songs on that cd please let me know by PMing me...it would mean a lot to me...thank you

kristen... welcome to the group. you can get most of one song on youtube; other than that probably no-one here will give them to you since the westenras dont want it in wider distribution than it is. and then theres the issue of copyright and its associated moral dilemmas

if your looking for a cheap copy of walking in the air... try www.trademe.co.nz you should get one for 500$ or so if you wait patiently. its well worth the wait

Like all the tracks on WITA it's very enjoyable, but do remember that it was sung by a very young girl with an immature voice, so it's not as you would expect to hear it sung by her now. That would indeed be a treat!
The synthesised backing on some of the tracks leaves a lot to be desired, but don't let me put you off - it's well worth getting the record if you can.

Well, I would absolutely love to own the cd, but as I am a college student (with not much money!!) and live in the USA (thus the cd would probably be imported and very expensive) I doubt I'll ever be able to hold in in my hands and listen to it on my ipod.

But, you never know....:)lol

OK. My little package was waiting for me when I came home this evening!!

I have to say the CD case has held up pretty well all things considering. There is only 2 little disappointments: half of the "teeth" inside are gone and the previous owner put a "C" in magic marker on the spine of the CD case. Other than that, CD looks in great shape! I'm about to play it! Let ya know what I think afterwards!















I apologize for all the pictures now. Hope it's not too many, but you guys would be the only ones to understand my excitement in getting this album! Thanks to everyone for the help and advice!!!
