Hi Paddy, we are going to my sons for a few days next week. Close to him is what claims to be the biggest garden centre in the country. We normally go there for a meal so I will check it out to see how good it is Thanks for your time and trouble, Best Wishes, Graham

Today, when i came back from my holiday, i was in a little village in the south of the Netherlands, which is famous of their Rose Breeders..................and guess what i found!!! There were more than 4000 different spiecies of roses..... Auguste Luise.........or Hayley Westenra roses...........i'm so happy with them!!! This picture of the Auguste Luise was taken on the Flower Island of Mainau, Bodensee, or Lake Constance,on the border of Germany and Switserland, wich was one of my destinatons this holiday!! Here they are!! Just fresh from the breeder............... 4 Hayley Westenra Roses......................now i have to find a place where i will plant them!!! I found my roses in the dutch village Lottum, where about 85 Rose breeders produce every year 75 million pots of Garden Roses, for export to places all over the world. Greetz Joyce.

Two blooms so far - one for each concert in Ireland.
Will there be a third?
Any more HW roses in Ireland?

Hi Joyce,
A pity your roses have finished blooming.
(Maybe it was that lovely cat?)
Mine were planted a bit late due to the cold weather earlier in the year.
The first two flowers are beginning to fade now but there are more to come.
Hopefully, I'll post a photo then.

Those are beautiful roses, Joyce. Nice to see that Tasman Bay Roses are donating $4 to UNICEF-NZ in aid of Hayey's Bikes For Ghana campaign. Enjoy... Joe

Jon,
Isn't that from a U S Viet Nam war protest song from the sixties? I think it was by Pete Seeger in about 1967 or 68.
