Well obviously HWI is operated in English but I'm just curious if anyone here is of a Chinese origin. Well personally I'm from Hong Kong, thus I'm doubtlessly a Chinese.
So, I wonder if any members here have a Chinese/ Asian descent? I'm sure HWI is so international that not only the western part of the world knows about it; probably we have some Japanese or Chinese here?

Yes I am a Chinese. Here is a good place for Hayley fans across the world to come together to share and talk and also a very good place of source. However the language barrier keeps many non-English speaking fans away from here. Anyway HWI is a great place.

I'm 1/2 chinese does that get me in i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThe rest of me being about 9/32ths English, 3/32th Scottish (Clan Fraser), 1/16th Irish and 1/16th unkn. ancestry (prob. English). I hope you don't hold it against me Hayley's voice is kind of an international language in and of itself in my opinion best regards, Peter T Well obvious HWI is operated in English but I'm just curious if anyone here is of a Chinese origin. Seems Asian members are actually not so few as we thought. Wow! How can you figure it out so clearly? Anyway you are mostly a Chinese in your blood.

I'm a guy from China,it has been 4 years since the day I became crazy about her. The moment I heard her voice on TV,I knew that Hayley was the singer I had been dreaming of.... Nowadays,I esteem Bach Beethoven Brahms and Mahler, alongside Hayley. I am really glad to be here to share my feelings with fans of Hayley from different countries..

Hello Bachian and welcome to the forum,
It's great to see a new member from China. Sounds like Hayley made a good impression over there. I look forward to reading your future posts!
Best wishes, Stephany

Hi Bachian.
I am delighted you have managed to 'get through', as we in the west perceive there are difficulties for your countrymen in accessing the western world and its concept of free speech but then even that is not necessarily all that it seems. We need to restrict ourselves in certain things out of courtesy for those with different views!
As one who is not a linguist, may I congratulate you on your standard of English and welcome you here. You have the right attitude--we are here out of respect and admiration for Hayley so you should find much common ground. Some of us in the UK (usually the South and London) have more chances than many to meet with her but we do our best to share those experiences with all who visit here and are not so fortunate.
As you have signed up you can access the membership list and from that glean some idea as to who else is from 'your part of the world'. We certainly cover Japan where Hayley is much appreciated but Roger, when he is on, would be the best bet to advise you directly.
In the mean time, we look forward to hearing from you regularly.
Peter S.

Hi tinmeigut and everyone,
I can probably best answer this question by giving a full list of countries from where we have members together with the number of members from each. Unless members have declared their location, these are based on IP addresses. The breakdown is as follows:
Australia - 11 Canada - 10 China - 4 Finland - 1 France - 2 Germany - 10 Hong Kong - 10 Indonesia - 1 Ireland (Republic of) - 7 Japan - 4 Malaysia - 1 Mexico - 1 Netherlands - 3 Northern Ireland - 1 Norway - 2 New Zealand - 11 Singapore - 1 South Korea - 1 Spain - 2 Taiwan - 1 Thailand - 2 UK - 71 US - 76

Thank you very much for the list, Roger. Do you know if there are members from Wales within the UK? I would be intrigued to know considering how popular Hayley is over there. Stephany

It's interesting to point out that the country that contributed the most members is not New Zealand, but the US.
Thanks anyway, Roger.

Hi Bachian and welcome to the forum from central England.
You say you have been a fan for four years - WOW! You should have found us sooner! Anyway, you are here now and should find plenty to keep you occupied on the many threads about Hayley.
Have you ever seen her in concert or met her?
I look forward to reading more of your posts.
Best wishes Grant

Thank you Roger. This list is interesting. The majority of the fans are from the US, even more than the UK. Surprised.

Thank you Roger. This list is interesting. The majority of the fans are from the US, even more than the UK. Surprised. Not necessarily. UK has greater access to her so arguably there are fewer 'frustrated' fans. Might indicate it is still worth her while spending time in the States--at the right time of the next release? However, I have now caught up on the intervening posts and I don't think a difference of 4 (as at the time of writing) is significant. Peter S.
