Hello Bachian, and welcome to the forum! It's good to see that so many people in China and the Far East like Hayley. I think this thread should really be on the Welcome board, so I'm going to move it now. Best Wishes from London, Richard

Thank you Roger. This list is interesting. The majority of the fans are from the US, even more than the UK. Surprised. Not necessarily. UK has greater access to her so arguably there are fewer 'frustrated' fans. Might indicate it is still worth her while spending time in the States--at the right time of the next release? However, I have now caught up on the intervening posts and I don't think a difference of 4 (as at the time of writing) is significant. Peter S. The US also has roughly 5 times the raw population of the UK, so if one was to do a simple percap the picture would be very different. Based on that, the US would be pretty far down the list. Also, people in the UK dont need a site like this as much as we do in the US. You can hear her on the radio to some extent, and also see write ups about her in the printed media. From an American perspective, this site is almost the only readily available source of information about her. This being said, the numbers may well indicate that there is more interest about Hayley in the US than her sales numbers may suggest. I think the problem there is logistics. She may have a pretty solid center of fans in New York for example, but most of them are spread out across the entire country. In most areas she never reaches "critical mass". The right kind of promotion may mitigate this, but it would be very expensive. Jon

I'm 3/4 American and 1/4 Canadian with Scottish and Irish ancestry, but if the adage "you are what you eat" holds true then I'm as Asian as can be. I eat lots of sushi, Szechuan and Hunan dishes and haven't consumed a typically "Western" meal in ages. One subtle benefit of globalization is that we're all turning into eachother at the most basic levels.

Hi Mr. Yang, Genealogy/family history is a passion of mine, and thankfully most of my ancestors have been well researched back to the late 1500s for most lines... I even know how I am related to Hayley for goodness sakes... that surely must count for something blessings, Peter Seems Asian members are actually not so few as we thought. Wow! How can you figure it out so clearly? Anyway you are mostly a Chinese in your blood.

Welcome to the Asian brotherhood Steve... now pass the soy sauce I'm 3/4 American and 1/4 Canadian with Scottish and Irish ancestry, but if the adage "you are what you eat" holds true then I'm as Asian as can be. Hi Bachian and a warm welcome from Germany!
Nice to see to get more members from Asia. Hayley loves Japan and maybe comes to China one day.

I've always thought that she'd just need ONE hit song that is played lots on Christian radio here... then a boatload more people here would know her *alot* better. Thats just my $.02 worth though! blessings, Peter T.
