Unbelievable. I only know I am a Chinese and my surname dates back to almost 1000BC.

Hi Bachian. I am delighted you have managed to 'get through', as we in the west perceive there are difficulties for your countrymen in accessing the western world and its concept of free speech but then even that is not necessarily all that it seems. We need to restrict ourselves in certain things out of courtesy for those with different views! As one who is not a linguist, may I congratulate you on your standard of English and welcome you here. You have the right attitude--we are here out of respect and admiration for Hayley so you should find much common ground. Some of us in the UK (usually the South and London) have more chances than many to meet with her but we do our best to share those experiences with all who visit here and are not so fortunate. As you have signed up you can access the membership list and from that glean some idea as to who else is from 'your part of the world'. We certainly cover Japan where Hayley is much appreciated but Roger, when he is on, would be the best bet to advise you directly. In the mean time, we look forward to hearing from you regularly. Peter S. Hi,Peter. Thanks for your greeting~~~Nowadays,China is no longer a country that implements closed-door policy.China is becoming more and more powerful and prosperous, and the Chinese young have access to western culture.Take me for example,I can watch TV programs of Discovery Channel and National Geography Channel~~~ I hope that there will be more and more people, especially the young, know more about China and her history~~

Hi Bachian and welcome to the forum from central England. You say you have been a fan for four years - WOW! You should have found us sooner! Anyway, you are here now and should find plenty to keep you occupied on the many threads about Hayley. Have you ever seen her in concert or met her? I look forward to reading more of your posts. Best wishes Grant Hi,Grant. My home is quite closed to Hong Kong,so I can buy imported CD quite easily, besides Hayley's,I have many records of Bach~~~In 2003 ,I spotted Pure at the corner of a CD shop~~~It reminded me of the heavenly voice I heard on TV,I could not resist the impulse to buy one~~It cost me about 120RMB~~~But after I put it into my CD player,I knew Hayley was the singer I had been dreaming of~~~~ By the way,I love Britain, especially her football teams~~~

Yeah Hayley had once been to Hong Kong in 2005 but that time I still hadn't developed a cult of her. Just if I had come across her earlier and I might well have been to that occasion to see her...

Hello again folks! We should mention the brilliant pianist Lang Lang in this thread. He isn't a member of this forum, but he is an artist with Bedlam Management, like Hayley. He's so good they named him twice! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRichard

Hi All -
I am a new forum member, though I have been logging in to this site for over a year!
Just thought I would make a few comments/observations from time to time so I have
joined you all as a member!
Greetings from Canada (where it is VERY cold right now!)

And you too, Jesse as I just noticed your addition as I was once more updating myself. Peter S.

Hi,
British passport, but as you can see from my picture, Chinese descent.
Just got back from Hong Kong. A couple of things to mention, Hayley-wise.
Firstly, I was in a shop selling traditional Chinese medicines and guess what they were playing? Hayley singing 'Amazing Grace'.
Secondly, I bought my friend a copy of 'Odyssey'. Being a good HWI member, I am trying to convert as many people as possible, of course. The copy I got from CD Warehouse contained a calender (2006, but still good for the pictures) and also a mini-DVD (Both Sides Now, What You Never Know & AG). Begged said friend to keep the CD, but give me everything else!
Regards Bill
