I have now ordered a Panasonic Lunix DMC-FZ28... Martin Hi Martin, I'm sure you'll be happy with your new one. These pictures posted now are taken with the FZ8 (7 MPixels) and ISO 200. If you compare them with DSLR photos (e.g. only a Nikon D40 with 6 MPixels at ISO 400) you'll find that the sensor of the latter is of course a bit better. Anyway, your choice was excellent, a lot of value for money. Looking forward to your next photos. Cheers, Karsten

BTW, upon watching that video of Ave Maria, I am absolutely sure that that was not Bach, but it was actually Franz Schubert. Ooopps!! You're quite right Libby. My mistake. (I'm surprised no one else spotted that! ) In my defence, though, I haven't heard Hayley sing the Schubert version since December 2005. I've just checked my concert set lists and it was at Beverley Minster on 15th December! Which makes sense now of what (I think it was Aled) said when he joined Hayley on stage. It was something like "Are we really going back that far?" 'cos for a second I thought we were going to get 'Walking In The Air'! Guess it was the first time they'd sung it as a duet since they toured together way back. Best wishes Grant Just got back from a weekend in Norfolk where I have been trying out the new camera, so I've got a bit of catching up to do. Yes, I should have twigged Grant's mistake too. Trouble is all these Ave Marias seem to merge together in my head, and it is easy to confuse them. And great minds think alike, I too though as you did about "Walking in the Air", you probably heard me exclaim something from where I was sitting beside you. But I wasn't that disappointed, it was a wonderful performance by them both. And Karsten, thanks for your comment, yes I am pleased with the camera so far. I love the instant shutter response and the wide angle lens, very good for photographing my grandson canoeing! But I have a long way to go to fully explore all that it can do, it has a lot of very clever features. Martin

I just wanted to express my many thanks also for the wonderful pictures, reports and links that everybody has posted. It is wonderful to view the pictures of the Lincoln concert, it still sticks in my mind like super glue to paper but the pictures help re-live the moment even more.
A week after the concert i'm just about eating again...I am still recoving from the love sickness bug...but reading from all your posts it appears there is definitly no getting over it!
Thanks everyone and I look forward to all your comments and posts of upcoming concerts of Hayley.
Best wishes
Darren
