Hi Stuart Great pictures of the concert considering where you were sat. I hadn't realised there was trouble over photo's Obviously Hayley's charms haven't rubbed off on everybody yet! Now looking forward to see the pics you and Steve took after the concert. Oh, and by the way! I have now learnt how to use the flash on my new DSLR but it didn't help on Friday, having left the instruction book back in Derby!! Grant

Hi Dave & All, Thank you so much for the great reports & wonderful photos of Hayley in that most gorgeous dress !! I wonder was it long or knee length? I would love to have a peek at her shoes as well ! How privileged you (Londoners) are !!!! I know you are well aware of it & thankful too! It's really fantastic though to share your lovely moments with us down under !!!! love, Marianne (& Graeme) Hi Marianne, I'm glad you like reading our reports and looking at the photos! I don't think any of us managed to photograph all of Hayley's concert dress because of people in front of us, a rather low stage and the camera police! But I can add few details and I hope one or two of the ladies who attended the concert (or one of the more knowledgeable of us men!) can expand upon it. Hayley's dress was black and extended to a fraction below the knee. The bright waistband and connected shoulder bands that you can see in the photographs were bright and glittery like diamonds (I wonder if they were real diamonds! ), it was a lovely dress of the kind that photographs can never fully do justice to. Hayley wore black (I think) stiletto-like heels on stage but the heels were not particularly high or pointed and with no platform soles. 3 or 4 inch heels is my guess. Alfie Boe is not much taller than Hayley and she wouldn't have wanted want to tower over him in the duet, or at the end! That's the best I can do! Cheers, Dave

Hi Everybody, I have just spent the last three hours sorting cropping and removing red-eye, now comes the posting on the various threads and boards. Firstly I will apologies in advance for the quality of the Canterbury concert photo's as Dave said the Camera Police were rife! and Stuart and I were 16 rows from the front, and coupled with this the audience were all on the same level, so we had to snap between heads! Again we used silent Sony H2 and H5 cameras, so there was no audible camera click and no light emitting from the camera at all. Steve H

As you have heard from the wonderful reports we were very fortunate to see Hayley after the concert where we were able to get some good pictures of her chatting with her supporters, of which probably 70% were forum members! Steve H

Here are some of Hayley with HWI members. Hayley recieves a basket of fruit from the organisers of the Canterbury Festival Many thanks to Stuart for the photographs from Canterbury which, considering the difficult circumstances, are excellent. I will just make one small correction, if I may. The basket of fruit was not from the organsiers of the Festival. It was a gift from Tony who happens to be a member of this forum. I asked Elizabeth how she might describe the dress that Hayley was wearing and she felt that it was adorned not with diamonds but with rhinestones. Whatever they were, they reflected the light in a miriad of colours. Roger

Thank you Roger for your correction, and I am sorry Tony for depriving you of he credit for such a lovely thought. Roger, here are a few more pictures of that dress... Great pictures everyone - and another two events well covered with fantastic reviews. It was great to meet up with so many of you again this weekend. Keep up the good work! Stuart

Perhaps we shall see Fiona Swadling or the full RPO. I was right to suggest that we should see Fiona Swadling (and Al Gurr). I chatted to both Fiona and Al after the concert. It was a little surprising that Fiona (Swadling) and Al were only invited to perform two weeks ago. Also interesting to hear that, like myself, Al has an elder sister called Andrea. His parents were hoping for the first child to be a boy, Andrew.
