Hi everyone
It seems like there are alot of us going to this concert, I am in row A by the way. Richard, as the one person who always seems to get to meet Hayley, do you think there will be a chance for any of us to say hello to her this time ? I have met her on both of the two times that I have seen her so far ! I just wondered if you saw her after the show last time she was at this venue ? I could make it a hatrick !!
Best wishes
Mark

It seems that Ian produced (and performed on) the following CDs of Aled Jones:
"Aled" "Higher" "The Christmas Album" (featuring HW)
I cannot find any reference to his other album "New Horizons"
Does Steve also manage The Choirboys and Libera?

Hi Mark, Hayley did get to spend a few minutes with us outside Cadogan hall, before she had to get back inside. It will all depend on the day, the best laid plans and all that! Here is a picture taken by Stuart H outside the event, Steve Abbott kindly lent Hayley his Jacket as it was getting chilly. Stuart and I are also in the front row, AA14and 15. Look forward to meeting you there Steve H

Hello Mark and everybody! I'll almost certainly arrive early for the concert, so if I see Hayley or anybody from her team I'll try to arrange a little meeting with her, as I did last time! I've got seat C14, which is very appropriate because I'll be "C"ing Hayley for the 14th time! 57 days to go! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSee you there, Richard

If we have already filled up rows AA to C that is 145 fans. Richard can you arrange a medium sized meeting?
PS. Could all 145 fit on the pavement in Sloane Terrace? And should we all bring jackets in case Steve Abbott forgets?

It's interesting that Hayley will be backed by the same orchestra as on her albums, the Royal Philharmonic. (Tommy Beecham's old band. See my post under "Humor" on official site ).I assume they will be recording together on the next album too. Who knows, we may even get a sneak preview of some tracks that may appear on the new CD ?! Her last 2 albums were great, but it's always good to hear something new. Incidentally, I'm keeping an eye on Fiona Pears website. I see she's on a UK tour in August and September. No details yet of who the guest star will be.........another young lady from Christchurch, NZ perhaps ??

Roger & Richard, My scoop back on 21st June came from a letter sent out by Cadogan Hall after I had purchased tickets for 6th June (Global Angels) and I registered my details on their website. Have you both registered on their website so that you can receive updates in the future? Do I presume that Cadogan Hall is Hayley's local? Well Andrew, Cadogan Hall is in Sloane Square and if it's Hayley's local, some people might think she's a Sloane Ranger! Hmmm... well perhaps not! Cheers, Dave Hi Dave. Your reference to the fashion site was useful and most interesting. Thank you. Of all those options I think the nearest one that fits Hayley is actually 'Covent Garden girl' and for awhiie she was in Covent Garden which she enjoyed. Jumping in with my usual six legs flailing, isn't her taste in clothes like her music, unclassifiable? Without boundaries, or crossing all of them? She sees something she likes and buys it. She does, of course, have to take other considerations into account not necessarily related to her personal taste. These are her 'public' or 'official' clothes, not that she has a need to 'conform' to any expectation so much as determining 'what would be appropriate'. But think of the range of clothes we, who have seen her on and offstage, have seen her wear and surely the only observation one can make is that she does not fit into pre-defined slots over clothes any more than her singing sticks to any particular genre. Other than, perhaps, 'cross-over' which itself is a name for convenience rather than a definable category. In short, Hayley's her own person. That's what makes her Hayley. She closes no doors, simply doesn't use them, which is not the same thing. Options are always open even if, for that moment, she hasn't chosen them. Simply defining Hayley is to say she is 'undefinable'. This is a free spirit for whom the world is her oyster, which she greets wide-eyed and open-minded. Peter

Hi Peter ! I've just read your post. Nice that you changed you mind and come to Cadogan Hall. So see you again soon. Thomas Thank you Thomas. Well, there is obviously going to be a party of WHI if only of people gathering, so I was beginning to feel left out already, which meant that i was definitely going to feel I was left out after the event! No details yet of who the guest star will be.........another young lady from Christchurch, NZ perhaps ?? On the last part, do tell us do, when it is announced! Turning to your first comment, this is very interesting because I have a friend who is a keen follower of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, so involved with it is he that he was invited to the farewell dinner in honour of its retiring director of music. He raised the issue that the CD stated 'Royal Philharmonic' while 'Royal Liverpool Philharmonic' literature had asserted they had played with Hayley in recording. The reason this 'discrepancy came to light was that my enthusiasm for Hayley had finally caused his partner to buy him the CD and he became aware of the seeming contradiction. Apparently there were red faces at the dinner when he raised it, surprise at the Royal Philharmonic appellation and a claim it was in fact them and anything else was a typo! I must email my friend and find out if he's heard more about this seeming confusion. Has anyone else heard about this? By the by, he is now sold on Hayley which ever orchestra, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic he has been supporting since his student days with John Lennon! Having posted, I thought I had better 'authenticate' my source and it was quoted to me as follows and as you can see from the people with whom my friend was chatting, you can't get closer to the horse's head without sticking your own head in it! Extract from my friend's email. However, during the course of our conversation with the RLPO's chief executive I raised my query regarding Hayley's Pure CD not accrediting the orchestra with accompanying her. He assured me that the orchestra did accompanying her but was surprised to say the least and instantly, in the course of the reception Judith and I had been invited, to ask his colleagues responsible if they could confirm whether my query was correct or not. The chap responsible for the orchestra's recordings quickly assured him that the contract was 'water tight' but hadn't noticed the lack of reference in the CD booklet - pink, if not red faces all round! Does Steve also manage The Choirboys and Libera? Hi Drew, Actually Aled manages The Choirboys and Steve manages Aled so, indirectly, yes. Libera are not within the Bedlam Management camp and, as far as I know, their only connection with Hayley was when they appeared in two of her concerts during the "Pure Tour" in 2004 (London Palladium and Congress Theatre, Eastbourne). Apparently Ian co-produced Libera.
It all sounds like bedlam to me. I can't say incestuous can I?
