Hi all, Yesterday I bought my ticket for ICC Berlin (raw 1, seat 1).  At the ticket is written: "special guest Hayley Westenra". So I think it is sure Hayley will be on tour.  Greetings, Lothar |

The speculation can now cease, as Hayley's Official site has made the announcement and published the full schedule (including the United States!). I have started a new board, "2006 Schedule" and moved this thread to it.
There is also a new thread in this "2006 Schedule" board, started with the official announcement. I think it's best to post any further messages about this tour in there, so we can keep everything together now that we have the official announcement and more information.

Also, Hayley's appearance in Toronto's Massey Hall has been removed from their listings for March 11. Joe Hi Joe, At least for the Vancouver one, Hayley's name hasn't been on that list for at least a month. However, I did manage to find her listed at the VSO site: www.vancouversymphony.ca/media/2005/VSO_specials.pdfApparently the tickets have been on sale since Aug 29. I've been checking the ticketmaster site almost every day since late September. Just few days ago, the system was still returning tickets for 12th/15th row. Guess it's not selling as well as it should... If it really got cancelled, hopefully it'll be rescheduled to a later time  In case you wonder, I have yet to order my tickets since I won't be able to confirm my 2006 class/exam schedule til next week Allen |

I'm not sure whether those other US and Canadian dates are still valid or not!! All I can tell you is that as of today (November 8th) IL DIVO have just newly posted a list of 2006 performances in the US and Canada on their official website! This is what the IL DIVO website listing says: 31st Jan USA Wallingford, CT Chevrolet Theatre 2nd Feb USA Boston, MA The Wang Theatre 3rd Feb USA Washington, DC DAR Constitution Hall 4th Feb USA Atlantic City, NJ Borgata Hotel 6th Feb Canada Toronto Air Canada Center 8th Feb Canada Montreal Bell Center 10th Feb USA New York, NY Radio City Music Hall 12th Feb USA Philadelphia, PA The Kimmel Center 14th Feb Canada Niagara Falls, ONT Fallsview Casino Resort (There are **more** dates, but I have only reproduced the ones for the Northeastern part of the US and Canada!) See the IL DIVO website for the mid-west and the west.QUESTION: Does anyone here know if "for sure" Hayley will be accompanying IL DIVO in every American or Canadian city on the above-cited tour?
The IL DIVO website just listed the cities. It didn't specifically say whether Hayley will be with them, or not. |

The last we heard was that Hayley's part in the Il Divo tour was "being planned" but not yet confirmed. Therefore we cannot guarantee that she will be at all venues. As soon as we have any confirmation, we will post it here.

What is so very exciting about this poster image is the fact that it clearly says "with special guest Hayley Westenra."  |

Hi Susan! Well it certainly looks like Hayley will be there, thanks for posting that... er, poster!  When Hayley's official site listed the US dates (before hurriedly removing them again!) I'm pretty sure that Hayley was scheduled to open at most or all of the February dates. I do not think everything Worlwide has yet been finalised, but the US leg may have been (as they are emailing people!) Don't forget, if you buy a ticket to see the supporting artist like Hayley, who then doesn't appear for any reason (but the main act does appear), it may be hard or impossible to get a ticket refund. Preorder link. IT IS ONLY VALID UNTIL SUNDAY NOV 13!!!.Note that not all the dates given in the preorder list match the list provided on Hayley's official site. We cannot assume that Hayley will be appearing on dates that do not match (i.e. the two Il Divo Canadian dates). Also, if you book and Hayley is unable to appear, it may not be possible to get a ticket refund so check this with the venue or ticket seller. Dave |
