I had to post something before Andrew Fenning stole the show.
This was Hayley in the VIP tent at Toast when the scenery fell down.

Peter, Grant and Thomas, did you witness this event over the VIP fence?
Sorry that she is landscape and not portrait, I blame the wife!

Thanks for sharing that amusing little incident, Drew! There's Hayley, fighting off the collapsing scenery while singing sideways. Is there no end to her talents?!!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

That must have been while she was doing 'walk about' (just after Thomas and Grant had met her) and we were hanging on to our places on the grass. The reason we did not hang around after the main stage performance was because we knew about Cardiff and were assuming she wouldn't have time to hover but would be whisked off toute de suite from the back of the stage. BUT. Isn't that just Hayley? Not a hesitation or lost note. A casual turn round to see what had happened, a slight smile and just VAGUELY the trace of a laugh in her singing the next couple of notes. Lady, YOU ARE SO VERY GOOD! Peter

Sorry Richard. Here she is standing up again. It must have been the Sauvignon Blanc at lunchtime. www.osmosysoft.com/images/Hine.mpgPS. Am I allowed to do this as long as it is only for HWI member use?

Hello Drew! It's great to see Hayley restored to the perpendicular, and that is a great little clip! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThe answer to your question is YES PLEASE, so if you've got any more video clips of Hayley, we would love to see them! Many thanks, Richard

Hi Drew ! Great videos sideways and standing. What a perfect afternoon ! After Hayley had left us to walk around the area and also to the VIP tent we actually stayed in front of the stage enjoying the sun. We also stayed there to be in a good position for her concert which was the front row. But when I watch your video you couldn't have been to far away from us during her performance on the main stage. I took my pictures more or less from the same angle. And definitely from the same angel. Thomas

For Stuart (and Roger) as promised:
"Who Painted the Moon Black"
Hayley Westenra, Fiona Pears and Al Gurr - Toast NZ, Regents Park, Saturday 15th July 2006.
www.osmosysoft.com/images/ToastedBlackMoon.wmv
Dave, please contact me regarding doing this properly so that I can become a member of Fenning & Co Productions Unlimited.
Please excuse camera shake. I was on the fence (not far from Thomas) and I had just had my first Hayley close encounter (and more than a couple of glasses of Sauvignon Blanc).
PS. Roger - the champagne at Cadogan Hall is very reasonable if you care to honour your debts. (Moved from "Concert in Macclesfield 6th August 2006" Thread).

If you want your "Toasted Black Moon" to shine on the main website, you will need to supply Simon, Roger and Dave with plenty of butter to go with it!
There's nothing like fresh Toasted Black Moon for supper!
Well done that man! I love it... You didn't use a tripod either?

Andrew,
Thanks for bringing the threads back together.
It looks like the Cadogan Hall rope trick again.
Did anyone realize that one of Hayley's hobbies is indoor rock-climbing? She's the one with the rope.

Thanks to Andrew for moving the video and subsequent posts to the correct board.
Sorry Drew but it is preferable to show it here so it can be easily found in the future.
