Hello Tony, Great news that you are able to make Wisley , I have sent you a PM with my mobile number in case we do not meet at the entrance, There will be a good turn out from the forum, and I am sure we will all have a great time. If we are lucky we will get to see Hayley either before or after the performance . If you get stuck for a lift back to the station I will run you back there . I think Richard is arriving by train as well? Anyway I look forward to meeting up with you on the day! Very Best Regards Steve H Hi Steve Many thanks for the offer of a lift after the concert at Wisley. I have sent you a personal message about It. I think the concert and fireworks will be over about 10.15pm. Trains from Woking station back to London are fairly frequent up to midnight. Kind regards Tony B

Hi all, you know, I’m „blind“ without any geographical orientation - not really of course. Please give me some support. What is the best way to go from London city to RHS Garden Wisley? On june, 8th I will arrive at London Stansted (STN) about 10:25 h. At first I want to go to my accommodation Queens Gate (London - Kensington district). What is the best possibility to go from London City by train or bus to RHS Garden Wisley? Many thanks for your help in advance. I hope I can meet a lot of you at Hayley’s concert in Wesley. Kind regards, Lothar

Hello Lothar! I think your best way from Central London to Wisley is to go by train from Waterloo to Woking (several per hour), then take a taxi. There is a bus service from Kingston or Guildford, but it only runs once an hour, and it's quite a long journey, especially from Kingston. Also it doesn't run during the evening. If your accommodation is in Queens Gate, the nearest Underground station is South Kensington. You can take the District or Circle Line to Westminster, and change there for the Jubilee Line to Waterloo. 12 days to go! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes from London, Richard

Hello everybody! Here is some useful information from the FAQs section of Wisley's web site. Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat should I wear?Smart casual wear. Please note the grass may be damp and it is advised that waterproof shoes may be a good idea. Can I bring a picnic?Yes, you may bring your own picnic into the concert arena. You are asked not to bring tables but chairs, blankets, folding chairs etc. are permitted. Can we bring tables? No, tables are not permitted. Can we bring barbeques etc?For your own safety, barbeques, barbeque candles or naked flames are not permitted. However, concert goers are asked to bring a torch just in case. What direction are the performers facing? The performers will be facing toward the Restaurant and Caféteria area - north west in direction. Will I be able to walk round the gardens? No. Due to health and safety, concert goers are only permitted access to the concert arena. ______________________________ THREE DAYS TO GO!!! Hi Richard, Thanks for the info on Do's and Dont's, I see there is no mention of cameras! I shall definitely be bringing a picnic hamper If you get there early are you going to lay out a big blanket, and reserve some space for your HWI buddies? Gates open at 5.30 so we will try to be there for when the gates open. Are you all taking folding chairs? its a long time to stand up! Best Wishes Steve H

Hi all,
Have a wonderful time to those lucky people who are going to see Hayley at Wisley. I'm sure the air will be filled with the scent of flowers in bloom at the gardens and also with Hayley's melodious voice.

Hello again Steve and everybody! I'll certainly be at Wisley well before the gates open, so I'll see what I can do about saving some space. I won't be taking a blanket, but I'll be picking up a snack in Kingston on the way. I've bought a little folding stool in Millet's for £4.99. It's very light to carry, and when folded up in its carry case it's not much bigger than an umbrella. The weather forecast is good for this week, but it might be advisable to take a raincoat of some sort, just in case! I've just found the following on Wisley's web site:- We'll have to be sneaky as usual! TWO DAYS TO GO!!! See you there, Richard
