Hi Lothar, Thanks for the Link, Booked two tickets this Morning! It would be a good location for an informal HWI get together! as it will be open seating, in fact it looks like we will have to take our own seats! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI am surprised that we have not heard about this venue before, the tickets have apparently been available for a couple of weeks. Oh well its good to have all those eyes and ears watching and listening for us! Thats the "HWI community spirit" working as well as ever! Thanks again Lothar Very Best Wishes Steve H

Reserved or Unreserved? Thanks for the link, Lothar! Has anyone managed to find out if the ticketing at this event is reserved, partially reserved or completely unreserved? I cannot find any specific information about this on the RHS websites, yet it was almost the first question in my mind. At the moment, I am assuming it is completely unreserved... in which case there is no rush to buy tickets and I shall wait until the event is actually confirmed officially on behalf of Hayley. If I am wrong about this, will someone please tell me? Cheers, Dave

Hi Dave, I have spoken to the event organisers and it is completely unreserved, the earlier you get there the better the location you get is what they have said!
I also found this:-
OTHER INFORMATION: Gates open at 5.30pm, concerts start at 7.30pm approx. and the fireworks at 10.10pm approx. Free parking is available on site (patrons are asked to car share where possible). No seating is provided. Please bring your own folding chairs if required and picnic rugs. Tables are not allowed. For reasons of safety, barbecues and candles may not be brought into the garden. A torch is advised for use at the end of the evening. A selection of drinks and snacks is available to purchase on site. Patrons may bring their own alcohol and picnics in with them. Naked flames are not permitted. Flash photography, videos and recording devices of any sort are not permitted.
Hope this helps.
Best Wishes Steve

Hello everybody! I'm certainly thinking about going to this one. There is a bus service from Kingston to Wisley during the day, but I might need to scrounge a lift to West Byfleet or Woking station afterwards. I see that tickets are available from the gardens, so I'll pay a visit during the next few weeks and buy a ticket then. It's probably advisable to wait until the concert is confirmed on Hayley's official site. Incidentally, Tenors Unlimited have a web site where you can listen to some clips and watch a promotional video. They sound at least as good as Il Divo:- www.tenorsunlimited.com/150 days to go! See you there, Richard

This more detailed article covering all the artists performing on the 8th June is coutesy of Esher News and Mail.
Programme highlights include a double bill of smooth swing with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, platinum-selling, teen singing sensation Hayley Westenra and a Motown special called Dancing in the Streets.
On June 8, visitors will be treated to An Evening with Hayley Westenra, with special guests Tenors Unlimited and violinist Ben Baker.
Hayley began to make headlines in 2003 when her debut album, Pure, became the fastest selling in the history of classical music.
This made the 16-year-old a national treasure in her homeland of New Zealand and a star across the world.
During her meteoric rise she has met the Queen, sung for George Bush, performed with her hero Andrea Bocelli and became the youngest-ever ambassador for UNICEF.
Award-winning trio Tenors Unlimited have also entertained celebrities, statesman and royalty around the world with their unique concert act.
They bring their wit and charm to their performance of some of the world’s best-known and best-loved music. Fellow Kiwi, violinist Ben Baker, is also set to make a guest appearance with two favourites from his violin repertoire.
Ben, 16, was awarded a scholarship to the Yehudi Menuhin School at the age of eight and has just been voted the Next Big Thing by Classic FM for his album Arcadian Strings.
Motown hits will then belt out from the stage with Dancing in the Streets in a spectacular celebration that buzzes with excitement.
From the opening bars, the audience will be dancing to the chart-busting classics from Diana Ross & The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, the Temptations and Smokey Robinson & The Miracles.
Straight from a sell-out run in the West End, this is a full ensemble of singers, dancers and a ten-piece band.
To stoke up a grand finale, Ultimate Earth, Wind and Fire bring a bit of boogie woogie to RHS Wisley to prompt disco divas to strut their stuff on June 10.
A tribute to the massive dancefloor smash hits of Earth, Wind & Fire, this band rock with a fusion of jazz, funk, soul and R&B.
Finally, Killer Queen will recreate the Queen experience with the sound, look and musicianship that was the hallmark of the world-famous group, shortly before the firework display at 10.15pm.
Project manager Louise Burton said: “I can’t wait until it all starts again. We literally start working on the festival from September so it’s fantastic to see it all come together.
“People enjoy coming to Wisley because it is such a nice, intimate venue and we have really good quality artists, which attracts people to come back year after year.
“We try and strike a balance between all the different styles of music so there is a day that everyone will enjoy.
Not long to go now!

Richard Why thank you, kind Sir I'll be there, too although i'm not sure how many tickets to buy at the moment - fortunately for me, the places are unreserved as far as I can see so late buyers need not lose out.
