Hi Stu, Richard Said:- I don't think Richard is going to Newmarket , so we will have to rely on the rest of the guys to get a good spot , or risk upsetting her indoors , who will not understand that it is IMPERATIVE that we get near the front! Steve

Hi Steve
We will probably miss the last race or two to get a good spot. Our money will no doubt have gone to a better cause by then! We will keep a look out for you if we are lucky enough to be near the front.
George

Hello punters! As Steve said, I'm not going to Newmarket, but I am definitely looking forward to reading the reports and seeing the photographs. I hope you all have a good day on Thursday, and I'll be thinking of you. Whatever you do, don't lose your shirt, because they insist on smart dress in the Members' Enclosure! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifUnless something new crops up earlier, my next Hayley concert will be at Cadogan Hall on 23rd September, but I am going to see Fiona Pears and Ian Tilley at Le Quecumbar in Battersea High Street next Sunday, 16th July. Best Wishes, Richard

To all attending Hayley's performance at Newmarket Racecourse... Enjoy yourselves. It's a sure bet that Hayley will impress as usual. The odds favor good weather. Hayley will win the place with her show! Exit...left paddock... Joe

Hi Richard Are you not going to Toast NZ: Regent's Park, 15th July 2006? Hello Steve! Unfortunately I can't be at Regent's Park on Saturday due to long-standing prior commitments that day. I support a hospice and I'm involved in a fund-raising event during the afternoon. I hope both Newmarket and Toast go well. I'll be there in spirit, and eagerly anticipating the reports and photographs! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

For those of you going to Newmarket tomorrow I've been looking through the racecard for some clues. As always when you see Hayley you'll be DAZED AND AMAZED (2.00) and may even embark on the ROAD TO LOVE (2.35) if you avoid traffic jams on the way ! In the handicap at 3.45 THE OLD FELLA has topweight, which hopefully is not a comment on anyone at HWI ! After Hayley's first song or two you'll be in a TRANCE (4.20) and by the end of the concert you'll have a FAST HEART (4.55). Those five should be worth at least 50p each way but remember you may not get back the amount originally invested !! Win or lose, have fun all of you ! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifP.S. You've already won..............you're seeing Hayley !

You've already won..............you're seeing Hayley ! What a lovely update. Thank you Jeff. I was going to post anyway. I have just returned (5:30pm) from an excellent luncheon in the city which started with a champagne reception in the courtyard before moving into one of the old livery halls, but in this case a mere four hundred years old, as the original burnt down in the Great Fire, to find a message on my answerphone from Ticketmaster advising me, at this rather late stage, that the ticket print out of 9:00pm for the Hayley concert was incorrect and she willl be on stage at 5:00pm. "We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused".. Well my inconvenience is that I booked an hotel room. However, learning it was an earlier evening than expected I decided to stay over and host a lunch on Friday for one or two nearby relatives before leaving for an evening concert (in my brother-in-law's backgarden) and BBQ. Then there's Saturday. Quite a week! The lesson I have taken on board is 'avoid buying tickets through Ticketmaster if at all possible'! Peter

However, Ticketmaster's faux pas may still cause great inconvenience. Some may have booked in the belief that they do not need to arrive until shortly before 9pm. They may not be able to get there by 5. Hayley, hold your horses! Roger
