I won't be meeting you before the concert. I am barely going to make the actualy concert on time after I finish work! It's going to be tight. And I have to get up at 5am the following morning. Ah! I'm sure it's worth it

Hello Nicola! I hope you manage to get to St. James's Church in time for the start of the concert at 7:30pm. It will definitely be well worth it! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifOnly THREE days to go! See you there, Richard

I'm really sorry to hear that, Emmett. It won't be the same without you. I hope all is soon well at home and, with luck, I'll see you on Tuesday.
All the best, Roger

With only three days to go, it is time to consider what the weather holds in store for us.
The forecast for London on Thursday is for sunny intervals and maximum temperatures of 21C. It could be much cooler in the evening but at least there should not be any rain. I think we'll settle for that, won't we?

Hiya, Roger, Ah, thanks for that, I'm sure you lot will manage somehow...... It's a pain missing out on any Hayley perfomance, but especially this one with the big crowd going . But, I hope everybody attending on Thursday has a fantastic time and say hello to Hayley from me. If everything is fine by the end of the week, I should be able to make next Tuesday. Cheers, Emmett

Hello Emmett and Roger! Emmett, I'm sorry to hear you won't be at St. James's Church on Thursday, but I hope you can make it to HMV next Tuesday. Roger, why are you worried about the weather forecast for Thursday? St. James's Church does have a roof! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifTWO DAYS TO GO! I'm really getting excited now! See you there, Richard

Sure it does, Richard, but I have visions of you and me getting there ridiculously early (like we usually do) and standing around waiting for everyone else to turn up. I just thought it would be nice to do so in the dry! Don't forget, I have your ticket and you wouldn't want THAT to get wet, would you? Roger

Just 33 hours before I have to get up early on Thursday, so I'll be in London with time to spare. I will be getting up at 5 am (4 am UK time.) Just imagine, last week Saturday morning, that was about the time I went to bed, instead of getting up ....
See you all there. Emmett, a pity I can't become acquainted with you in person this time. Which makes me wonder - you did have a ticket, didn't you? Is that going to waste, or are arrangements made for a possible last minute visitor to be allowed in?
Cheers,
Gerrit

Hi Gerrit,
Good point there, I forgot about that ticket.
Yeah, I was suppose to collect the ticket on the day from the box office. I did'nt make any arrangements to give to anyone else. But if someone wants the ticket, they can have it, no problems.
Gerrit, I hope you have a great time and have a safe journey to London. I'm sure we will meet up at a future concert and I look forward to seeing everyones reviews and photos.

Hi Emmett,
I was told that I could collect my ticket on showing the credit card I used to pay for my ticket. I think they work by some system by which the tickets are passed on by means of that identification. As you won't be there, they won't be willing to release the ticket to anyone else.
Maybe Keith, you can get in touch with the box office, explaining the situation? I mean, someone might turn up there, wishing to get in, and just hoping a last minute ticket will become available. And by the looks of it, it will be, but the box office won't be releasing it!
Cheers,
Gerrit
P.S. I am am bringing along a photo camera and a video camera. If "Hayley Westenra and Friends" means there will be some unexpected friends on stage, I'll try to capture it on video!

Hi Gerrit,
When I booked the tickets they gave me a several digit number to quote, so maybe thats all thats need.
I can give the box office a call tomorrow and enquire about the transfer of my ticket to someone else, hopefully they can do this seeing as I already have paid.
Emmett

Mmm, that might prove difficult for reasons that Gerrit explained. At the very least, I would expect the Box Office to require some written concent from Emmett together with proof of ID. I doubt that is possible at such short notice. If anything can be done, it would be nice if a member of this forum could be given first refusal before it is offered to the general public, especially as they would be sitting with all of us...... but I guess that's put them off! Tell you what, I'll go twice! Roger
