Hello again Belinda, Keith and everybody! There is a big Garfunkel's Restaurant on the south side of Piccadilly, just next to Piccadilly Circus. It really caters for people who want meals, but I suggest we all meet there, then anybody who only wants a snack can go to Ponti's next door. There is also a Starbucks and a larger Caffé Nero on the north side of Piccadilly, both within sight of the church. I'll post Emmett's map again here. Only TWO weeks to go! See you there, Richard

Hi Richard, Many thanks for that. Can you be a bit more specific regarding the location of Caffe Nero? If Garfunkel's is really for people wanting meals, it would not be that appropriate a meeting place. I, for one, will not be eating there, or anywhere else most likely. So, somewhere that caters for all requirements from a simple cup of coffee to a meal is the best. perhaps a more specific location for Starbucks as well. Cheers, Keith.

Hello Keith! I suggest we meet at Ponti's then, which is next door to Garfunkel's on the south side of Piccadilly, three doors down from Piccadilly Circus. They do coffee, sandwiches, salads, pasta, pizza, and all-day breakfast. Starbucks is about 100 yards from Piccadilly Circus on the north side of Piccadilly, but Caffé Nero is about 50 yards further on and quite a bit bigger. Richard

Well, the first member of the HWI team should already be on her way to the Special London Concert. Belinda's flight is due to take off from Christchurch New Zealand in less than two hours' time. She and her daughter Kim, who is also coming, should be checking in at the airport by now. They have a total of 24 hours or so in the air with a 3.5 hour stop in Singapore ahead of them. Have a safe journey, ladies. See ya soon. Roger

Belinda and Kim will, by now, have changed flights in Singapore from where they were due to take off about 4 hours ago. By my estimation, they should now be somewhere over Southern India! Next stop: LONDON!

Thanks for the running commentary, Roger. Although ... Running? Try keeping that up with Belinda and Kim's flying speed ... Cheers, Gerrit

Haha! I mentioned to Belinda the other day that if the plane doesn't fly fast enough for her liking, she should get out and push! She is so looking forward to being in London for the concert next week (and even to meet us lot!) that she might just do it!
