Hmmm, maybe they'll actually let Hayley TALK this time. When they showed her concert on WNET here, she was in the studio with someone who was either from Universal or from the station, and they barely let her get a word in. I think they were treating her like a kid.

BTW, Joe, Tim, anyone want to go in on some kind of present for Hayley if we get to see her? Hello Steven, We could all perhaps go in on something. But I've bought Hayley a gift already. Actually I bought it a while back in February. I'm not going to tell you what it is...it's a surprise...plus Hayley might read this!

I think they were treating her like a kid. Hello Steven and Joe! Talking to Hayley at Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre last month, she said that now she's 18 she doesn't feel any different, but the media are treating her as though she's suddenly grown up. I hope the same thing will happen in the USA! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifTo continue the countdown:- 75 days to go! Best Wishes from London, Richard

Well, I'll do my best to treat her like an adult, not a kid, though alas, she's too young to give a bottle of wine to.
Come to think of it, the songbird pin I gave her was from PA wood, so this might be the time for her to wear it.

Aaaah but fusilier, if you wait until you visit the UK. next year, Hayley will be (and already is) quite old enough to buy wine here, receive it as a gift... and even drink it. But please, not *before* a concert! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

No way, alcohol dries the vocal chords. And no chocolate or dairy before concerts either. Alas, poor Hayley was only allowed to have one lick from her sis' ice cream cone because she was singing in that one article. The sacrifices she makes for her art!
Of course, nothing says I couldn't give Gerald or Jill (assuming either is present) a bottle of the stuff, we have some excellent local vineyards in PA, and they deserve some appreciation too. Whether they share it with Hayley or not later is their business.

Hello Steven and Joe! Hayley is becoming more independent now she's 18, but you could always give a bottle of wine to one of her entourage to pass on to Jill and Gerald, if you can't give it direct to Hayley! 72 days to go! Best Wishes from London, Richard

I dunno how big of an entourage she travels with, truth be told, and there are only two people I'd recognize, Steve Abbott and a blonde woman who I never got to put a name to.
It'd be a pity if I never got to say hi to Gerald again, he's such a nice fellow, but something tells me if Sophie is present to duet with Hayley, one of the 'rents will be there.
I dunno anything about performance details for this one, whether Hayley will bring her own conductor, who the accompanying ensemble is, anything, so I'm just guessing.

Hello Hayley fans in the USA! I've been so busy listening to the Australian version of "Odyssey" this week that I've neglected the countdown! 9 weeks or 63 days to go! :2fun: Best Wishes from London, Richard

(Fingers crossed) I hope so. As yet I haven't heard her use that expression.

I picked up a copy of her book today off the net. Hopefully I can get it signed. Pity it has never hit the shelves here.

I'm sure you'll get it signed; I'm thinking I will need a small suitcase to carry all my stuff for Hayley to sign to the concert in Easton! My family will each have something to be autographed...she may need quite a few ink pens! Joe
