BTW, this is in fact a solo Hayley concert, though I have no idea who the accompanying ensemble is. Joe, it would certainly be interesting to meet yet more Hayley fans, you included. I dunno if I'll have "family" with me, since I really don't have any in the area except my parents, though if they are interested then why not, they already saw Hayley once with me when she toured with the Boston Pops, though come to think of it they have friends in South Jersey who are fans of Hayley's. We'll see, one thing at a time.

Hi all, According to timj, WLVT-TV are still accepting pledges in exchange for tickets to see Hayley at the Allentown/Easton concert on Oct. 22. Visit the Lehigh Valley PBS station website here or phone 610-867-4677, ext. 131 to speak with Jan Creedon, Membership Manager Don't forget that by making a pledge for Hayley, not only get you concert tickets, but an entire year of membership benefits. |

I'm sure we will, she's been great the last few times I've met her. BTW, any idea if she will do only Odyssey music, or whether some Pure stuff will also be sung? I know she's pushing Odyssey at this point, but is she going to put the old stuff aside?

That's a very interesting question Steven. Of course, this concert comes just four days after Odyssey is released in the US. I wonder if that gives us a hint.  |

Oh, I'm sure the vast majority will be the new music, since it comes on the heels of the release, but I am hoping "Amazing Grace" is still there, together with her "goodnight" Hine e Hine. When all's said and done, either is fine by me. I would be fine if Hayley decided to go all-original, actually, since I believe I owe Hayley a measure of "unconditional" support because she has been so kind in the past. I do hope, since it comes so close to the release, she's going to do a signing session afterward. I don't think there are any other immediate gigs the rest of that weekend. I can think of at least 3 other Americans who'd die for signed copies of Odyssey who I know.

Because the concert is organised by the PBS TV station WLVT, they might be recording all or part of it. But I'm just expecting a representative from the TV station interviewing Hayley. It's too early to say...but I hope they film a certain event...
